I had a wonderful WI this morning. For the first time in about 5 years I'm below 250! I lost 2.2 which puts me at 249.6

There is no meeting next week because of mandatory staff meeting stuff

I'm in next month's challenge and I'm really stepping it up for me.

Strength training minimum 1x per week

Run minimum 3x per week

Swim minimum 1x per week

Bike minimum 1x per week

Lose 4 #s

Congats Terri!

I missed my meeting yesterday. I need to start going to the one before swim class instead of after. I decided to stay and practice and ended up totally forgetting to go. So next week..I'm going to start with the early meetings.

Speaking of swimming, I am so proud! I am noticing that swimming is getting easier and easier, especially my back crawl. I just gotta keep working endurance so I can do the distance. The good thing - our instructor crowded all 5 students + her in the lane for the deep water segment of class. So I am getting good practice swimming with a lot of people in the way, LOL! Next class we are doing kick drills and working on smoother rotary breathing.

Marking my place in the thread.

Bought a new Weight Watchers scale on sale for $40 made by Clairol.  It shows beginning weight, current weight, goal weight, body fat lbs., body fat %, BMI, hydration level, and bone mass.  Wow!  That's a lot of information.  Plus, it has a seven year warranty.

Unfortunately, had to also buy Halloween candy.  My daughter told me what she DIDN'T want me to buy because she didn't want to be tempted to eat too much candy.  So I bought stuff that I know we'll give away and hopefully not consume too much.  Also bought gum to keep the mouth busy and out of the candy bowl.  Whatever we don't give away, I'm going to take to work and give it away.

Have a great evening, everyone!

Wow - awesome buy on the scale!

Good call on the gum and buying candy that you don't really like.  My WW leader handed out a list of halloween candy and the points associated with even the fun size candy is well - Not so fun.

How great that your daughter is thinking that way!  You guys are a great influence on each other!

Laurie, that scale sounds really cool!

I hear you on the candy. DH will take any leftovers we have to work so the Marines will eat it. We bought ours today at Costco. Right after that I tried on a zip up sweater cardigan in an XL, just for fun 'cause I knew it wouldn't fit, and you should have seen my face when it did fit! LOL I tossed that sucker in my cart without even looking at the price! LOL That's the first time I've been able to buy clothes there.

I bought 2 bags of single serving sugar babies 2 weeks ago and put them on the fridge. They're still there. I cannot believe I haven't scarfed them down. They're 2 pts per bag. Of course I also bought M&M's and put them in the freezer and they ARE almost all gone, and they're 4 pts per bag.

Terri, that is sooooo cool!  You have to love it when that happens - I'm waiting for that to happen with my black skirt!

LOL - M&M's vs sugar babies - ummmm, no contest!

Hey everyone! Congrats to everyone and there weight loss accomplishments over the weekend. We had our annual halloween party saturday and I had a great weekend, busy busy but still very good. I did a 5K saturday morning I ran with a friend so my time was much slower but I think it was worth it. She needed the support through the run. I have updated the log and attached it please please check it to make sure your NOV start weigh is correct I may have gotten mixed up along the way with adding new people and I just want to make sure I have it right as we start out a new month this week. Have a great day! Jana

FOOD FIND!

If you have a Trader Joe's, you've got to get yourself some Spicy Ranchero Egg White salad. It was mentioned at our WW meeting last week and we were reminded about it yesterday. I stopped by there and got some and oh, my! It's yummy. I have some 1 pt roll-ups I got at Henry's and they are so yummy together.

1/2 the container (more than enough for 1 sammich) is just 1 point. It's not overly spicy, but has great southwestern flavor. They also have a chive one, and I bought it too, and will let you know how that tastes, probably tomorrow

Can I join in?

I'm a (relapsed) lifetime WW member. I just finished my first seasons of Tris and I'm hooked, but I thought the training alone whould help me get my weight under control again. No such luck. So, I started WW Core plan 2 weeks ago, and have lose 3.8lbs. I'm absolutely loving it, and need all the accountablity and motivation I can get.

I'd love to be a part of the group.

Hey ladies! Sorry for being so quiet for the past couple of weeks. I have been in some training classes for work gearing up to take a professional certification exam on Friday. I've been stressed and eating my way through it. I've not made it to my WW meeting since the 15th and I'm up about 4 pounds since then according to my home scale. I desperately need to get myself back on track, but I'm struggling to find my good eating mojo again.

I'll definitely be signing up for the November challenge. I know joining in on the October challenge definitely helped keep me motivated with my exercise. I just need to figure out what I want my goals to be.

Hey Melissa,  Good to hear from you!!!!

Sorry to hear things have been stressful - we have all been where you are and you will get it back.

Seems like Dee is open to just about any kind of goals, maybe you could do one around good eating mojo - something to think about anyway

I don't know what my weight will be as of November 1, but as of my last weigh in, it was at 251 something (missed WI this week due to a doing a 5k).  So, fell free to update the log at 251.  That should work.

Thanks!

Okay, I tried the chive egg salad today. It's okay. I prefer the other one; however, I can see this chive one on crackers as a dip type snack. It had too many chives in it for me. And it's green

LOL Terri you saying it's green makes me think I'll pick up the southwest one

I'm still here and trucking along. This week has been weird. I had some dental work done yesterday that is making it really hard to eat solid foods today. So I didn't really finish my points yesterday b/c I just didn't feel like eating anything. I took some meds and went to sleep. Today, I made stove top and had that for breakfast. I guess I'll play the rest of the week by ear since I have to go back for them to do the other side today
