Hi all!  I'm getting started first thing tomorrow morning!  300m swim as part of the Bribie Island Triathlon!

Aiming for 12600m this month.  As long as I do all my squads and complete the two tris on my plate this month I will be done by week 3 - Week 4 my pool is shut.  ;_;

Looking forward to see how everyone goes!

Helloooooooooo teammates!!! I'm Bob and am looking forward to a good challenge. I have a strong background in swimming (35 yrs of swimming competitively) and will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding swimming.

I am shooting for 50,000 yds this month although my coach may have me backing off swimming to  increase my running.  We'll see how it goes.

Good luck everyone!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm Laura and this will be my third challenge. I find the challenges a great way to stay motivated! I really just started swimming seriously back in May (I had lessons as a kid but never swam competitively or anything) and completed 3 sprint tris over the summer. The progress I've made in swimming has been great but I still have a long way to go!

My goal for the month is 10,000 yards. In previous months I've almost doubled that, but I'm having knee surgery on 12/14 and will have to be out of the pool for about 3 weeks afterwards til the incision heals.

Good morning snowmen!

I've done a couple challenges in the past, and in October it really helped me stick to my running schedule (I made my goal!).  This past month I've been slacking a little, so time to get going again...

I pledge 18,000 yds.  It's been months since I've been in the pool, but I think I'll be able to pull it off!!

can anybody design the table/box things with links to people's blogs? i'll presumably get the spreadsheet soon and will inspire you if i haven't got the details i need.

I wish I could help set things up but it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to change my avatar to the snowman. Not very site savvy.

Hey folks! Sarah here in snowy Wisconsin. I usually swim 2 times a week so if by the end of the month I'm short, I'll put some more time in the h2o.

Rstocks- Binghamton? I spent 1/2 my senior year of high school driving from PA to Binghamton for brewskies! HAAAAA!!!

Sapho...not too sure how to do that spreadsheet thing either. Looking forward to getting to know you all. And of course will enjoy the humor from ScotinSeattle.

Hi there fellow snowmen!

I'm Susan and I'm in for 26,500m! I'm really looking forward to this challenge.  I just started my training plan for IMAZ (April) and I've been having a hard time getting motivated to finish those 3-4000m swim workouts, so this should be a great incentive!

Hi, all! Sorry for the late entry, but I'm looking forward to the motivation. Like Susan, I'm beginning my IMAZ swim training. I have quite a bit of swim experience, dating back to age group swimming growing up. Although Rstocks maybe more of a help with swim instruction assistance, I too would be willing to provide any advice. Since it's my first month in the pool, my goal is 20K this month. Look forward to a great month with our sinster snowman team!
