Subject: RE: willie05's Group - Closed squishybelly - 2008-04-23 10:06 AM Bob, I feel like a bit of a schmuck here, but I'm going to drop out of our group and look to join one of the new April Mentor groups. I had a blast at the beginning of this group, but I really want ongoing feedback from a number of people, and I'm afraid that our group (for various reasons) has dissolved to only a couple of us left here. I think you've been great, and really supportive, and I think you should look to start another mentor group next year - this group was a reflection of those who joined / unjoined as opposed to your mentorship. Thanks for everything, and I'll definetly be keeping you on my friends list and hope you'll check up on me from time to time. Neil Not a problem at all - regardless of the group's activity, I would encourage that anyway so that you get a variety of perspectives and can learn from others. I did see that brick you did the other day, and to tell you the truth, I don't think you're going to have a problem at all figuring out what your bike pacing should be going into the run. You put up some excellent times, and you'll learn more every time you do a brick. By the time you get to your first race, it'll be a piece of cake! |
