does watching a full stage count as a stage in the challenge?!?

I wish---If it did I would be done with this month's challenge and next month's challenge!  :-

Hi - just been into your team spreadsheet and fixed it up so the calculations are consistent with the other teams.

Any questions just let me know

So now we really do need to put our stages and miles in cumulatively (is that a real word?)?  I'm not sure the calculations are right, though.  I changed my entries so that they are cumulative over the three weeks -- I'm still short one stage but I'm over in miles, and the spreadsheet shows that I'm 103% of my goal.

That may be right.... because Im using a pretty basic formula of ((stages complete/stages committed) + (complete time or distance/Goal))/2

Will normalise each component to a maximum of 100% when we are done for the week...

Hey team!

Another stage, #9 I believe, and another 68 minutes to add.  I think I'm getting close to my time goal (and will definitely kill it by the last day of the challenge) but I may wind up 1 ride short unless I throw in a short one somewhere...

Hey everyone....I got in a short ride this morning. Am riding tomorrow and prob sunday too, if time allows. I know I am going to surpass my mileage goal, but think I am going to come in 1 or 2 stages short. I wanted 12 rides this month, think I am only going to get 10.

Miles will be well over the 300 I planned, but just the number of rides was off. Hope it doesnt screw us too bad. Sorry all.....

Just crossed the finish line at Les Champs Élysées!

Did a 31.54 km easy ride, easy spin.  Went over my goal by two stages and about 70 km.

Allez les Vertes Emmentals!  One last stretch to the finish line!!!

The TdF Challenge will be over soon. So how are you going to stay motivated NEXT month? Interested in another challenge?

There is a "Casual Challenge" planned for August. You can set goals for RUNNING and/or SWIMMING and/or BIKING and/or OTHER (strength, yoga, etc) and/or WEIGHT LOSS. (You may sign up for ANY or ALL of these goals.)

There will be no teams (unless we get a lot of people signing up, then I'll split the group). It's just a friendly challenge to help people achieve their workout and weightloss goals.

Click below to read about the August challenge, or sign up for it:

Ok team cheese, I'm done.  I got 13 stages in for 839 minutes.  Woo Hoo.

Let's finish it up.  Today is the day.  Crank out those head lamps! We have until midnight.  Just image that your finishing up Iron Man Hawaii at 11:45 PM.  Or not!  :-)

It has been my extreme honor (or honour for our esteemed British colleague)  to be on this team this year!

Hi Team,

Just a reminder this is the final day of the TDF challenge - I hope everyone has enjoyed themselves

There has been a little confusion over how the final results will be calculated so from the original thread with the challenge rules here are the details :

"The winning team will be determined by the overall % of goal amount of stages and % of distance/time achieved by the team. (each goal counts for 50% of your overall goal achieved)"

What this means is you cannot achieve more than 50% from with of your totals... I havent had any requests for clarification sent to me but i thought I better just remind everyone!

Results will be up in the next couple of days, so just make sure your team spreadsheet is up to date
