I am rewarding myself with a day off and I'm heading over to Vancouver tomorrow to check out the Olympic  pavilions and soak up all that positive energy .

Hey, Kisses!

Sorry for being MIA and having an awfully un-peachy training log in the past couple weeks.  I was a little sick followed by some grueling work days that derailed the gym plans and kept me off the web...

Anyway, tomorrow I start a fitness challenge at my gym as one of a team (we're "Team Alibi") of 10 women competing against 8 other all-women teams.  Winners are determined by the greatest change on some starting and ending metrics (weight, planks, wall squats, etc.) and the number of times you hit your training sessions and days you visit the gym, so I'll be filling my log as much as possible which'll help me get to some spin sessions to get my time in with my luv!  Wish us luck!

The no-stop release run at your own pace morning PT:  50 pushups, 50 situps, 18-ft rope climb, 4 mile run, 5 mile ruckmark (40-lbs), back for breakfast.  The two toughest parts were going up the rope after the pushups (hope your technique is good using your legs), and then putting the ruck on after coming in from the run.  The standards were 9-minute miles and 15-minute mile rucking.  I came in ~37:15 on the run and 52 minutes on the ruck because I jogged the whole thing.

The best part is that none of that counts towards my love goal.

After a couple late nights at work - I managed to get in strength the past two nights. Tonight is my strength off night with a run. It is to be 57* here today so hubby has already asked to plan for a run tonight (hmm - is that my hubby - he doesn't do that).. So we are going to get out - hoping to get in 2 but a run will be a run..  Back to strength (my luv goal tomorrow).

So...I'm currently watching the Olympics and I absolutely CAN NOT MISS the women's 1000m long track...so I'm procrastinating on my bike...,haha...

I know I have a pretty hcore intensity swim tonight too...so I might decide to just move it to tomorrow to save myself for tonight and add it too my easy run...hmm...decisions...we will go with the flow...

Jealous of your 57º day!  It's in the low 40s over here and it's so nice I want to get outside on my bike, but the warm weather means all the snow is turning into brown slush and the roads are gross.  Yuck!

On a rest week for the program here, love goal is tracking okay, but really struggle with motivation on rest weeks for some reason.

Got another long run to get in tonight or tomorrow morning which will get the percentage back up on track

Hello Kisses! Sorry I've been so quiet somehow my nice easy week ended up being not so nice or easy. That being said I did get a 3.5 mile run in today... very excited about that And next week really is supposed to be easy so it's looking like I am gonna be able to have a strong finish to February!
