(Going up to my Dad's House) Train Well Pfreaky Pfft Daremo is at 130 miles. So he's just a bit behind you. I don't know what he has planned for this weekend though. Figured you might want to know. Like, I dunno, oh - if you two decided to have a little side challenge, or something. LOL You've got the 2 highest run goals in the challenge, after all. |

Champion 5345 Carlsbad, California | Subject: RE: Pitter Patter of Fast Feet... aka PFFT A challenge between me and Rick would not really be that interesting since we are both following roughly the same training plan. (Pfitz 12/70) I modified mine so there are some differences, (Mine has a bit less volume early in the plan) but we are pretty much in lockstep. I have 10 today @ GA Pace and my long run (17-18 miles) tomorrow. Rick has 8 today (10k Race Pace) and I think a long run tomorrow. (Probably ~18-20) Nice idea though just to get a bit of side action going Thanks for thinking of us D |

LOL He did ask why you weren't on his team this month, but by then, I'd already put you here. Maybe I should pick on Sal, Dexter and UTTriman next. Last month, their team had a challenge within the challenge. I think they called it something like: "Power Puffs vs. Manly Men." |

Champion 5345 Carlsbad, California | Subject: RE: Pitter Patter of Fast Feet... aka PFFT Did my 10 this morning down at the beach and even did ~2 miles nude down on the sand . I was not planning on any Barefoot running today but I needed some mojo as I was starting to lag toward the turnaround point. (Did an out and back) Now at: Run: 150/250 - 60% Complete Team: 41.36% |

I might have suggested a little side challenge to measure miles run Barefoot, Naked or maybe even Nude, but that probably would not be fair to Rick since it is still pretty cold where he lives Maybe this Summer... |

Elite 3022 Preferably on my bike somewhere | Subject: RE: Pitter Patter of Fast Feet... aka PFFT Some bad news guys. I'm gonna have to drop out. I took most of December and all of January off to heal an ankle injury, and it appears that during that time, I developed a knee problem on the OTHER leg. Ankle is fine, though. I might need to take all of 2008 off from running - it seems every time I start to run on a regular basis, I injure something. Good luck and kick arse!!!! |

Extreme Veteran 665 Vancouver, British Columbia | Subject: RE: Pitter Patter of Fast Feet... aka PFFT Good luck DZ. Succeeded in my first race ever today, an 8.5 run race so I am up to 36.4/42 for the month. And I couldn't have asked for the race to go any better. Ran faster than I ever have before and felt great doing it! Managed to finish in the top quarter both in overall and age group. Seeing the clock time as I approached the finish line was very pleasant surprise. It's so nice when everything clicks!! Keep on runnin' team! |

Elite 4148 Utah | Subject: RE: Pitter Patter of Fast Feet... aka PFFT Think I mighta missed something. I thought miles were to be posted by Sunday, not Saturday. Well, nevertheless, while everyone else appears to still be sleeping (who ever heard of sleeping in on Sunday, hahaha) I updated my miles. Yes, I'm a little bit behind. But I'm hoping that maybe some short little one milers with the dog (yes, she is getting overwieght - 103 at the vet the other day) will catch me up. |

Congratulations to RUNNING WITH SCISSORS! They are the current leaders in the Feb Challenge! Remember, your training needs to be reported on your BT Training log and on the spreadsheet! Team captains - please help your team members log their training correctly. February is now 59% completed. So there's still plenty of time for you to SWIM, BIKE and RUN! - Dee |

Champion 19812 MA | Subject: RE: Pitter Patter of Fast Feet... aka PFFT I did my first running race in 13 months today and first anything since my HIM in October. 5K's hurt quite a bit but I had fun and challenged myself. I've never placed so high in running event 24 out of 67 women and 8th in my AG out of 21. Not my fastest time, but given I just started running about 10 weeks ago after being off for 7 with surgery, I'm very pleased. |
