Finally back in the saddle!! I had to adjust my goal to be a little bit lower...I have no doubt I could've hit 250 if it hadn't been for the flu ruining 2 of my long rides.

Argh...

But I'm golden!

Actually, RunningJayHawk is still at 0%? Has anyone heard from her? I left a couple of inspires, but didn't hear back. BARB - are you out there????

No fear....I"m back! I was able to get into the saddle tonight and it went pretty well. I had a few failed attempts on the trainer the past few days (dealing with nausea and light-headedness)...but we appear to be back in business 100%.

I may need to adjust my goal once more...but I really hope to hit 200 after being sidelined for a week and a half.

I'm gonna lose a couple of days with travel back to the states.  Still should remain ahead of my goal pace though.  Will pick it back up once I get settled into my hotel and adjusted to being on the other side of the clock.

You guys and your good weather are making me jealous!!

Today is the first day of the year we've hit 50. I have a 45 minute easy run at my 10k pace. So I'm hitting the track in about 30 minutes here...

When I get home I may try to spin for a little bit...we'll see.

I'm off for a 45 minute ride right now so I should be able to amass about another 15 or 16 miles and then a 90 minute ride on Sunday should tack on about another 30.

I got a nice 40-miler in yesterday. Not quite as warm as Pam's ride, but the weather here in southeastern PA is beginning to warm up enought that I can do most of my riding outdoors now. I'm planning on a shorter ride today with some interval work.

Next week will be tough for me to get my long ride in 'cause the kids will be on Spring Break (I usually work out while they're in school...). The trainer may get a workout next week I'd much prefer to ride outdoors, especially since the weather is getting nicer now!

Hi everyone.  I just updated the spreadsheet to cover this week's rides.  Since my right knee is a little sore this morning, I'm not likely going to get in any more miles on Sunday.  I had a great week though and am now at 59% of my goal.

Ride peeples ride!

It looks like there are at least a few folks who haven't updated the spreadsheet, so I think we're probably doing better than 36.6%.

Keep on pedalling, PEEPle!!

I just updated the spreadsheet. Looks like we're at 41.3% now. The month is 45% over though, so we need to pedal, pedal, pedal!

(Either that, or we'll be peep, peep, peeping with our new avatars next month!)

It's the ides of March and finally I'm trying to be a team player. I know...I'm slow.

So I tried copying the code for our team links but all it did was show the codes in my log...What am I missing?

Yay for being a team player!

It depends on your settings in the control panel. I'll post two versions for you: the "picture" version, and the "code" version. One of 'em should work! And if they don't -- let me know and I'll take a look at your log and figure out what happened.

OK guys! Some of the team captains on the "other teams" are cracking their whips! And we do NOT want to be in 7th place, right?!?!?!

So forget the whips! I'm bringing out the cattle prod. (Even though I'm not the team captain, but...) Better ride lots this weekend, so you don't get Z-a-p-p-e-d!

While the cattle prod is initimidating, the thought of having to eat one of those peep omlets is more disturbing.  Wait a minute.  Did you use that cattle prod on the peep?
