I got a 30 minute trainer ride in today while my daughter took her nap.  I did intervals, which I've never done on the trainer before.  I think that actually makes the time go by faster.

I think I'll be able to get my 6 workouts in this week.  Who else is on board to get 6 in this week?

Looks like we're doing good AirWingers!

I only need 2 more top get there.   So 6  it will be for this NCO  .

Lets   hit 75% this week  Troops.

If you can deliver  a 6x ,   that's bonus for the squadron.

Motivation you need ?

To quote the classic once again   ...

Stinger: And if you screw up just this much, you'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog out of Hong Kong!
Maverick: Yes sir!

Aim High  The only easy day was yesterday

Go Air Wingers

Got in #4 this week as a 3 mile run as a nice easy recovery run. It's such an amazing feeling knowing that a 3 mile run is now a nice/easy/recovery run, its been a long time coming but FINALLY!!! hahaha

Hey guys! What do i need to do about being sick/injured last week? Between ortho  visits, MRIs and a 2 day stay in the hospital with a stomach bug (very nasty), I was essentially out of commision all last week. In previous challenges there was some kind of formula used to compensate for sick/injured days.

This week is looking better. I got a bodypump class (www.bodypump.com) in on Monday followed by 75 minute yoga class and a good spin class in last night. So far everything is holding together and relatively pain free. I have a yogalates class planned for tonight and fitness yoga tomorrow night. Really trying to focus on core and flexibility training over the winter to help avoid injury for the upcoming season.....

#3 in for the week.  I'll get 5 in, but 6 won't be doable.

Glad you are feeling better !

There is usually some adjustment that can be made for injury or illness . Like  for example : reducing your goal by 25%  if you were out a week.

I Got Session #5 for the week in the bag this morning with a run along the beach and was greeted

by the   locals foulmouths  monologuing .

OK #5 in for the week.  I've got to hype myself up to run outside tomorrow (34 degrees and snowing) or do something else productive.  I'm due for an outdoors run.  brrr.

Or I need to figure out another fun / warm idea.  I work again on Saturday, so I'd almost prefer not to wait until then to get #6 in, because if I'm busy on shift, then I'll miss out on #6 all together.

And as I stated earlier, next week will be tough to get the 5 workouts in. I'm gonna do it, but 6 is definately out of the question.

It was a no go for my run at lunch today. My hip was acting u[p and just was too painful. I did do a solid gym workout tonight to cover myself;

Pushup challenge, full upper body and core workout.

That gets me 4 for the week

Smart Idea , rest up the  hip and work out other areas .

Its a win win !

No flying rubber dog for me.... I'll get my six in this week, Sir.

Hopefully it will warm up so I can get outside to run. I just can't seem to breath right when it is cold out. I have no idea what that is all about. Going to get a swim in today. Yea.

Well I missed a day yesterday. My hip was still very sore so tha run at lunch was out and I had a hot date that evening so I couldn't make the gym. I'll make up for it today with a gym workout for 5 for the week. I dont know I'll do it but I gotta get 6 in next week, we'll see.

Got #6 in today.  I'm disappointed watching the Spartans football vs. Penn State today.  My run wasn't very motivated while watching the game.

Don't forget to log your miles on the spreadsheet!

Go AirWingers!
