hey pecans.. what if instead of serving up our team mate.. we pick up our team mates slack????? anyone interested.. is that possible?

I actually think that is a good idea... I contacted Cynthia to find out what can be done (reduce goal or pick up slack), so we don't have so serve anybody up.

GO PECANS GO!!!!

Good with me.  So are we thinking we have amy reduce her goals to what she can do now and any interested team mates can help make up the difference so that our overall original team goal is still met?  I'm willing to help with that.

Thanks for letting me change my goals! I would rather not get served

I went running today, and I still plan on going running at least two other times this week, so I should be at least doing something to achieve my goal for the rest of the month.

I did want a redued goal though. How do you feel about me changing my goal to 10 hours, Cynthia?

Ended up skipping my run tonight after all.... Yucky sore throat.... I will rest tonight and hope for the best for tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.... Now I will get my weekly biggest looser fix and then hop into bed.

Good night PECANS!

Alas, I won't be able to help with any extra, I'm going to have a mighty struggle getting to 100% myself. But, I'm all for the game plan if we think we can make it!

I got a message from Cynthia yesterday, that she will check-in with Amy to discuss an adjusted goal. So helping out probably won't be necessary at all and also, we don't have to serve anybody up.

Got in a 3 mile run as a nice easy recovery run. It's such an amazing feeling knowing that a 3 mile run is now a nice/easy/recovery run, its been a long time coming but FINALLY!!! hahaha

Considering how badly I want a "do over" in my life from about mid/late Sept ... how can I reasonably refuse Amy?  Now can someone reset MY goals and decisions and revamp my life?  :P  sheesh.

Keep on running Pecans, you're looking great!

I RAN!!!!! I ran I ran I ran!!!! I'm so freaking happy! Felt really good, too. About 22 degrees out, snowing lightly, snow on the ground (yikes, that was SLICK!), and yet I was totally comfy. Gotta love windblocker fleece. I need to remember to put lotion on my face before I go out, though - the wind/cold burn stings!

van paulus, glad the smoke is clearing, and good luck on Saturday!

I found an advantage to my horrid work schedule on TG - I'm doing a turkey trot! Yay! It's about 3.5 miles, "flattish with some hills." Not sure exactly what that means, but I guess I'll find out when I get there. I'm hoping to go out and run it nice and easy without pushing too hard, just enjoy the day and getting out with others. It is a really low key event anyway, so I'm not going to really "race" it. Then, turkey time!

I hope that I will get a couple of miles in tonight.... Around 4 or 5 would be great, but I have to see how my sinuses feel later on today. On Saturday I will run a 5K Turkey Trot and on TG day I maybe do a 5 miler.... But that will be a TG morning deciscion... I don't have to register for this one, just show up and the entry fee is a can of food.
