Good morning - I am finally getting a chance to sit down and post. We had a busy day yesterday moving our new horse from his old stables to a facility 10 minutes from us - YAY!! So, between riding him and training for a tri, I think I will be getting plenty of exercise.

Good to 'meet' you all, some names I recognise from POG November challenge. I LOVE these challenges, they keep me accountable!

Mmmmmm.....hills.  I love em.

When I visit my sister in San Diego she basically has a footpath that starts in her backyard that winds up a mountain.  Of course I don't stop till i reach the top and its been one of my favorite workouts cuz it really kicks my butt.  Yes, I'm a little masochistic like that.

Rather funny how I read your "i love hills" comment and then I noticed your "disturbed" monkey pointing at your comment.

LOL!  Yeah he's my motivator (one of them).  No one wants an evil monkey coming after them, right?

Morning Toddies...everytime I log in, I start singing the Ole Miss fight song.  "Hotty Toddy gosh ole' mighty who the h3ll are we..."  Love me some SEC football

Anywho, I got my first run of the challenge in last night.  It almost killed me (then it got dark).  Don't know why it seemed so hard.  Ran 5 miles this weekend and it felt great.  Go figure.  Anywho, I'm loving this challenge...it is by far the coolest and chattiest team I've been on

How is everyone doing today?  Good here.  A little warmer out than yesterday. YEAH!!!  Now if would just get into the 70's (instead of 30-40's) I'd be a happy camper.

lyssa-gator - 2008-12-03 12:19 AM hello toddies. (cute name btw) i know a couple of you, wally and jimmy anyway, sorry i'm so late to the party, my modem crapped out on me on FRIDAY and i just TODAY got back online. (it's been a ROUGH weekend!)
anyway, my name's lyssa, i'm a stay at home-homeschool mom. i have three kids 8,4 and 2. i'm 31, been married for almost 11 years. i've raced for two seasons now, and i'm planning to do some more racing this up and coming season, but my big focus for the month is running. i've decided to do my first marathon (end of june) and i'm terrified/excited.
i've kind of scanned through the last 9 pages (feeling smelly for not being here too) so i've "met" you guys kind of. i think this month will be fun. i'll be on here a LOT. (stay at home mom, this is pretty much my social outlet-LOL)
anyway, go toddies go. i absolutely can't do the table, but yay to whoever can/will.

Hi Lyssa,

I don't know how you do it (homeschool) I have two girls 6 & 3 and I get about 2hr twice a week where they are both in school, I SO need that alone time.  Usually end up doing the grocery shopping but still, I don't think I could stay sain with out it.

What a sweet guy!  I'm after one as well but Bryan told me no.   I have the 305 but want the 405 since it is pretty smaller and would fit my wrist better.

x2!  I don't have the patience to teach them either.  I get frustrated when they don't pick up a concept quickly.  It would be a disaster for us!  I have a lot of admiration for you homeschoolers!

Good question.  Probably PB&J, yogurt, fruit, and or veggie of some kind.  Pretty basic.

Have not tried that cereal.  I'm stuck on Cherrios Cruch stuff at the moment.  For a mid day snack I like to do equal parts (1/2  C) frozen blueberries, vanilla yogurt and the cherrios cruch stuff and mix it all up.  YUM, kind of like a parfait thing.  Helps with my sweet tooth.

I tried the Special K with strawberries, but they looked like scabs to me.  Couldn't eat them.
