Hmmmm, busy training, not talking. Another hour and 22 minutes today. I also can't keep up, too many full pages of post padding. Oh well. Nice work Judi! I got my bike in this morning, Stage 2, but worked too late to get my swim in before the noodle lady class so another one missed I'm packing for my HIM instead, I'm guessing my week is going to blow schedule wise. Bummer about the swim. When do you leave for Rhode Island? Friday morning. I wish I could go Saturday but check in is lengthy. I haven't been home for a month on a weekend! |

I have an infection in my lungs and have to wait for the steroids to kick in a little so I can breathe. I hope that I can still get all of my stages in. I will definitely be riding 150 miles and two stages this month. I may have to alter my goal a little. Bummer! Hope you feel better soon. |

I feel physically ready, no concerns at all, it just feels like a non-event and I can't figure out why. I'd kind of like to just stay home and train and that's terrible! I know it will be fun, I know once I'm there it will all be good, but I'm having a hell of a time getting myself excited for it. I'm not sure why but it's a real downer. |

Hmmm...I just read your blog post. To me, it sounds like your next focus is really IMMoo and Rhode Island isn't an "A" race. Sometimes it's really hard to get psyched up for practice races. That happened to me when I did a half mary during marathon training last year. I knew it was a practice race and it just felt like another long training day to me rather than a race. I know a HIM/IM combo is a lot different, but I could see the same thing happening. |

I also felt that way in marathon training but for some reason it was fine to view running races as practice days where it feels wrong to not be excited about a tri. I guess I'm surprised it happened. Oh well, I'm thankful I can do it and if I finish problem free (ie no big mechanical delays or anything) I'll get to sign up for IMLP 10 and it will save me a bundle of money and trouble. I just need to get through the week and get to Providence, then things will change! |

I do end up not watching lots of news or listening to the radio during the day so that I don't hear any results. |
