Last week I got a bike/run brick in while she mowed!  I just keep reminded her that home projects and mowing is woman's work and she believes me......

Just kidding ladies :-).  My wife enjoys doing that kind of stuff.  I'm a lucky dude.  When I got home, she even pretended to care about my ride and run!  I need to buy her more flowers.  Last time I did, she thought I did something wrong :-).  I was just being nice because she rocks.

pdbman - 2010-05-06 6:29 PM Late lunch today. Just got back from the pool. I'm feeling pretty good about it. My workout ran a little quick so I thought I would throw a couple of sprint laps in there at the end. I set a new lap time PR. Not that it should be surprising since I haven't tried to set a new lap PR in probably a year but I'm excited about it. Not that its any real record. There are a lot that can do a lap of a 50 meter pool in the time it takes me to do a 25 meter pool, but that's beside the point. I set a new PR! Heading out for a second workout (bike or run, haven't decided yet) in about an hour since that's when I finish work.

Well done, Paul... Watch out Michael Phelps!

Good morning all,
Got in a 45 min trainer ride this morning.  Now that it's nice enough to ride outside (during the day... not at 5:45am), the trainer has become even more mind-numbing.  That 45 min trainer ride seemed to last twice as long as my hour and a half outdoor ride last weekend.  Swim planned for lunchtime.  Happy Friday and Happy Training!

pdbman - 2010-05-04 1:48 PM I don't know what's going on here. We seem to be posting as much on the women's thread as we are on ours. We are gradually catching up to them though. I guess it just shows that we really can't do without the women. It gets too lonely by ourselves.

awwww I feel the love!

Morning all.  After my wife wakes up, I going to head out for a very sloooooow road ride.  I just need to get my legs going.

So much for an easy night before my race tomorrow.  Son's travel baseball team got a last minute game for tonight about an hour away.  I won't be getting home until the dark hours for sure.  Then up early to get over to the venue.  OK, end of rant!

Yeah, if I keep going like this, he won't be able to lap me before I finish one length of the pool.

Feeling pretty tired today. Turns out the 9:00 showing was the first Iron Man. Had the same picture on the web site. Oh Well. So if we're going to watch one and the second one is right after we may as well see it too. So we bought tickets.  We didn't even have to leave our seats. Saw it in a new digital theater. You really can see the difference in the picture quality. Anyway. Iron Man 2 was pretty good. Much better villain than in the first one. Quite enjoyable. Except for the tie in to the Avengers after the credits. Not exactly a big fan of the superhero they alluded to. So I got to bed at 3:20. No early morning workout and I'm in the office so there won't be a lunch workout today. Have to squeeze it in after work.
