Good morning all my wide awake Ghoulies!

We had a network outage here so I played on my phone and got paid for it. My job doesn't always suck, only when I have to do the stupid stuff they ask me to do, or I have to go to worthless meetings, stuff like that.

Melindy I know how you feel. I've got 3 1/2 weeks to go and I'm tired, too. I took a little break last week. It may not help my marathon time, but it did help me mentally. You have to take care of yourself, that is priority #1!!!

I was beginning to think that you are your DH went off line for his birthday and decided not to return

Uh... no. In fact the evening strayed from the plan and not in a good way. We were going to go out to dinner someplace with actual waiters or waitresses and no drive thru. Yeah, that didn't happen. Our son had to type up a book report and he had forgotten to bring it home over the weekend. We still went out, but had fast food. We got home in time for the kids to get their homeword done before it got too late.

We did have cake, that my MIL made. There are certain food items that do not go well with my daughter, we are still trying to narrow down the list. She got sick after she ate cake, so we were up for awhile with her. She ended up falling asleep in our bed with me, while he stayed up and watched football.

Probably not the best birthday he ever had.

Well as I have come to realize when you get to be our age birthdays just aren't that important anymore.  Just show me some special time and I am happy - LOL  But somehow I doubt that happened last night with bed company

Hey, he had a Birthday with family. Could have been worse.
I LOVE celebrating birthdays. I just rarely get to celebrate them on the actual day of the event. No matter, any day is good for a celebration.

wgraves7582 - 2010-10-05 8:59 AM Robin - trust me I know - I spent my 19th birthday in Boot Camp.  I remember eating a 7-11 turkey sub for Thanksgiving one year as well - fun times - LOL

Ya, I have a memory of turning the stereo on and dancing around the living room by myself, with the dog wondering what the heck is wrong with me, just so I could say I went dancing for my birthday.

So my exciting week...

I get to work today and tomorrow then Thursday I get up at the crack of stoopid and load my mom and her cat in the car to drive 12 hours to take her home for the winter. Yes, it is Florida, BUT, It is at my brother and SIL's home and they and I are like oil and water. (Really we are more like nitro and gycerin, but I try to be an adult about it). I'll fly home on Sunday.

You could have danced with the dog. Some are pretty good slow dancers. You just have to watch where they put their paws.

You can't drink and drive, but you can start drinking as soon as you get there! You don't want to miss out on FAT FROG FRIDAY!

Ya, when I go home I hear more NY/ NJ accents than southern ones. Good news is they are loading up their giant motorhomes and leaving from here now, too. [Except for the half-backs (folks from the north that moved to Fla then moved here- half way back- LOTS and LOTS of those folks here)].

There's just something wrong with both of you. I know we've all been aware of that for some time now, but I thought today seemed like a good day to point it out.
