Uh oh

Being in a different time zone, I hope that didn't happen. There was over an hour of post game coverage scheduled before Glee. I'll check tonight and see what I got.

Confession Monday:
I did not watch any of the Superbowl. I did not see any of the commercials (which, for me, is usually the only reason to watch the event). I have never watched Glee. I do not want to go to my "grumpy old men" meeting tonight, but I have already been seen in town today so I can't not go.

Robin, you look a little feverish, you may be coming down with something. Amy and Kendra, don't you think she should stay home and rest this evening?

Why don't you come over and help me help my daughter make a cardboard guitar for school, then we can watch Glee.

Glee, I have not gotten into.  I did want to see the big production yesterday but did not stay up for it.

Yes, I can tell Robin is beginning to run a fever.  Be grumpy and just stay home.

Do you know anything about making cardboard instruments?

Sounds like the best present a mom could get.  All her kids together again.

I've made drums out of a oatmeal box, but other than that, no.
What do you need to make?  And does it really have to play?

My son made one that really played (not on key) but the daughter left it in the car with the window down and it rained. It came apart. He was a soldier about it but he was really crushed. You can find directions on the internet.

I think it is supposed to make some sort of sound. She doesn't have to make a guitar, she just has to make an instrument, she WANTS to make the guitar.

I did find some directions online yesterday. The first ones I was thining holy cow this is toooooo hard. Then I found some easier instructions.

afternoon ghoulies.

im back from a slushy/sleetish run/walk.

i actually enjoyed being out in the slushy snowfall.

but hey, that's me.  


my only goal in the next few week is to run spin and swim one time (each).  doesnt matter for how long just so i get one workout of each in per week.

figure i got to get back at it somehow.


i made my reservations for DC today.  this is a big step for me.  it will be my first vacation with the boys SOLO.

ive always wanted to take them to DC.  but DH always put the kabosh any other plans other than going to beach every year.  i have to say going to Hilton Head was super nice....but every year?

the boys seem excited with our plans as well.  

SO ITS A GO!

I just made hotel reservations for the NYC triathlon. Gosh, that is not a cheap town to stay in.
