Good morning Ghoulies!

Jules, I am going to have to come out there and take a look at your computer for you.

Dear Ghoulies,

My best friend is no longer speaking to me and does not want to be friends anymore, and I do not know why. Please excuse me today if I am a little quiet. I am sad and confused.

V/r

Ann

bummer.  I hope that your best friend gets over whatever it is that is causing the problem.  Ghoulies still love and like you.

PLEEEEEEEEEASE! I have to break down and buy a new one! been pricing macs and thinking of geting an ipad too~ anyone have verizon and using an ipad???

I have toyed with the idea of the ipad, but don't see that it does all that I would want out of a computer, so to me it would be a very expensive toy, thus have not broken down and gotten one yet.  My iphone is great though.

After I ordered the certificate on Amazon, I found out that I could have gone straight to Omahasteaks.com and ordered the same deal there.  Still an awesome deal.

For $80 you get: The Amazing Celebration 47593PKK
  4 (6 oz.) Top Sirloins
2 (4 oz.) Boneless Pork Chops
2 (4.5 oz.) Stuffed Sole with Scallops and Crabmeat
4 (4 oz. approx.) Boneless Chicken Breasts
4 (4 oz.) Omaha Steaks Burgers
  8 (3 oz.) Gourmet Franks
4 (5.75 oz.) Stuffed Baked Potatoes
  8 Potatoes au Gratin
  1 (6 in.) Chocolate Lover's Cake

sounds like a great deal ~ and to have it delivered too~ I LIKEY!

Yup.  I put the order in today and it will get to my daughters house on Thursday.  I'm not a meat eater, and I know that since they moved to DC, they have cut way back on their red meat primarily due to the high cost, so this will be a nice treat for them over the holidays.  It does crack me up that with all the meat all you get is one small 6 inch chocolate cake.  LOL

I often think I could be a vegetarian ~ love veggies and if not for my husband would not ccok a meat with almost every dinner....I do have to admit that I often do crave for a steak and or hamburger and would not survive without some bacon here and there~

Morning Ghoulies.

Monday started out with a big old Monday pie in our face. The hubbies car died in town, tow into Ashville and it will be a big bill.

Hmph!

At least he was close to home, and we have AAA so the tow won't be big bucks either.

I have a MacBook Pro and I love it. I also have a Dell laptop, but the kiddos usually take that one. I also have an iPad. I like the iPad for checking my email, logging my diet on the myfitnesspal app, playing a ton of games, checking facebook. Small kinds of things like that. If I were traveling I would take the iPad. If I am typing a long email, or a paper for school I use a laptop. My husband likes to use either his work iPad, or my iPad to read the comics everyday.

do you own horses Ann?

I dressed too warmly. My jeans and shirt were soaked with sweat when I got home. I was warm when I was moving, but when we would stop at houses to sing I got cold FAST.

We technically own 1 horse, but we frequently have 4 at our place. We have the 1, and my SIL owns the other 3. We rotate them between our farm and hers. We are also getting a 20 year old gaited mare here soon on a free lease. The people who own her don't want to sell her, but they board horses and they need to make room in the barn. I have ridden her twice, and my daughter has ridden her once. I want to get my daughter another lesson or two on her then we will bring her home.

It's rainy here too, but I think I'll try and tough it out and do my run. Mainly because I hate doing any kind of cardio machine and I'm not in a weight-lifty kind of mood. I really should put some rain gear on my shopping list, but the weather is so rarely poor around here I just keep putting off buying any. Oh well - hopefully I can make the time for a soggy run in a little bit.

yes ~ depending on the makers ~ the higher end ones have zip vented areas under arms....and or mesh lining ~ I usually layer dry wick tops under it.

FAIR WARNING: beware of paint stripes or markings on the pavement and or wet leaves when running in the rain ~ they can cause you to do the splits or head in directions your feet were not planning on! I have learned the leaf thing on my own! I never did the splits before that day, either Embarassed

I had on a pair of low cut hiking boots, and thin socks. They have rubbed before but today was the worst.
