Got in a little over 6.5 today.  I am looking for the mental boost. This has been a hell of a week for me - all the snow and no husband to help, now pne of my daughters has pink eye so no pre-school for her today. Luckily she can keep her ownself busy.

Did everyone survive the storm?   Post storm check in:

 FirstNet: Present.....

Late, but present.  Spent 2 hours shoveling last night after my neighbors helped me the day before.

Sunday AM the wind pushed the minivan sideways at 45 mph. Wonder what the HRM would have read?

Between the cold and the snow I'm starting to get depressed. I really need a few days somewhere warm.

Swim or run on tap for tonight, depending on how busy the pool is during the kids practice.

Not to rub it in, but I am REALLY looking forward to going to Mexico in 4 weeks.

Just checking in with everyone - I am a little off track running wise now that Trailbreaker was cancelled. Probably a good thing cause I don't know if I would have been ready.  Way to much cycling over the last couple of weeks - I think I strained my glute or hamstring so kind of "taking it easy".

How's everyone else???

I'm also bummed re: trailbreaker. However, there are good races a week on either side. Still waiting for spring.

I've been AWOL for almost a couple of weeks, I think.  I had to move to a different building to be with my work "team" due to the merge.  I'm still informed that for the next couple of months I'll be working under two different "teams" because of what I was doing.  I'm getting stretched in many directions and trying to keep my head above water with the bricks getting tossed on.

Swimming - dropped off my radar since I've been working through lunch hours lately.
Biking - ain't happenin' since I don't have a trainer and not getting my Cervelo out on those *wonderful* well-plowed county roads.
Running - have attempted SOMETHING to keep my sanity.

Latest workout was today (Sun. 3/2) - removing up to 3" deep of ice from my loooooon driveway.  It's a total body workout.  Earlier this morning I took the dog out to our local walking trail and wooded park for about 45 minutes - about 2 miles worth of fun.  I'm noting it since it's a good workout running on the snow trail with big, honking snowboots.

VERY SOON - We'll have DECENT weather!!!

I'm actually looking forward to this challenge. I know my times will suck, but I race for fun so that's OK with me.

Snowing again- I think Summer may never come.
