Day 719, 2.25 miles.

Thanks all for the kind words, I have been a quick healer my whole life and I hope it still holds true now. I have my 100 miler in less than 3 months. The pain was a little better today but still painful.

#106: 2 miles. My wife gave me her cold, so I'm scaling back distance to get better. This means from the neck down, I feel AMAZING, but I'm carrying a 90 pound block on top of my neck. Stupid cold.

#387 4mi

#388 2 mi

Doing last "real" run tomorrow 7 mi with probably 2 miles or so at race pace, and the rest easy pace. The rest of the week will be easy taper. I had so much extra time today, I really didn't know what to do with it. I didn't do much.

Day 721, 6.2 miles. Still sore but a little better might have been the cold beers I had last night that made it feel better today. : )

Thanks. Weather is looking good, maybe a bit of rain, but that's fine by me.

#389- 7 mi. Ran in the cold (33 deg) and dark. Couldn't really see my watch, so ran my "race pace," 2 miles a bit fast 6:53, and 6:55. But they felt good.

Here is my pacing strategy, look ok? I know I got the first 10. And will probably be "ok" until 15. Mile 16 to 20 will make or break it for me I think.

Mile 1 to 10: 7:00 x 10 = 70 min
Mile 11 to 15: 7:10 x 5 = 35 min 50 sec = 105 min 50 sec
Mile 16 - 20: 7:15 x 5 = 36 min 25 sec = 142 min 15 sec
Mile 21-25: 7:25 x 5 = 37 min 05 sec = 179 min 20 sec
Final 1.2: 7:10 x 1.2 = 8 min 36 sec = 187 min 56 sec = 3 hr 7 min 56 sec

Excited about finding places to run and working them into the days events. Probably early morning, getting it out of the way.

Tuesday - #107 - speed work. .5 mile warm up, then 6x .25 hard with 6x .25 easy. Total: 3.5 miles.
Wednesday - #108 - 4 miles relatively easy.

Welcome back, Bellingham.

Good luck this weekend, ImSore! Looks like you have a solid strategy in place! That would be an absolutely phenomenal race. Hope all goes well!

Welcome back. I went to China this year and had to keep the streak. Was interesting with the time difference. I felt like I had to keep the streak on our time, and also on their time. So I ended up doing quite a few doubles. Nice dedication with the 1230am run, you should manage just fine!!! Should have some nice runs at those locations, really get to see the cities. Have fun!!

#391- 3 mi, 6 x 100 m strides
