TriPatrick - 2011-05-20 1:18 PM I love that I left my wetsuitat home. Good thing I live pretty close. Anyone seen a tremp today?

Patrick,

I asked one of the IM people at the swim practice and they told me it was 76 degrees?  I brought my wetsuit just in case.

If it is 76.1 or below I will wear my wetsuit.  If it is 76.2 or above then it is the Torque speedsuit.

A friend is volunteering at the swim start tomorrow and will be there at 4am.  She is going to text me if it is legal or not.  I'll post it up here when she sends the text.

Is everyone walking from their hotel to transition to swim start tomorrow? I have people willing to drive and would rather not do 142.6 tomorrow but don't know about traffic or anything else. Thoughts?? Ideas?

(ideally someone could drive me to HEB area and wait while I do my transition stuff which won't be long, then drive and park in official parking at swim start)

Found the link to the spreadsheet thanks!...I'll update it when I can but so will lots of other BTers.

If it is posted in the IMTX forum I don't think those not from TX will find it.

It's your guys race, what do you think about posting it additionally on the IM training forum where most IM watching threads have been. That is where BTers will look for it?

Have fun out there tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you need one in case you flat on the course? If so, do you carry a pump? An option, is to get an air chuck CO2 cartridge and use a shorter valve stem. This works for my trispokes. I use a 40mm presta valve.

I was upset that I didn't bring my wetsuit when I first got in the water. A minute in, though, my Torque was perfect.

I'm worried about flatting on the course. It's a full disc, I don't know if that'll fit. Bike is in transition.

I'm not racing this year, but signed up today for next year! You all inspired me! I'm kind of feeling buyer remorse right now though! LOL I'm sure watching you all cross the finish line will change that.

I'll be at the RWB Aid Station (#4) at the south end of the lake.

My 'official' shift is 10:00 to 2:30 but all I'm going to see during that time are the pros and fasties.

Methinks I may work overtime. :)

eta... Oh yeah; Good Luck to all!

I recieved my gps tracking chip yesterday. I charged it and checked it last night to make sure it worked. Everything worked great except the name on the tracking website was my cousins. I had it shipped to her address down hear in the woodlands. I emailed them at 10:25 last night to see if it could be fixed. I received an email back 2 minutes later saying it wouldn't be a problem. He sent me another email at 10:32pm telling me the problem was fixed. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone out there tomorrow, say hi as you pass me on the course.I

Registration for next year was open to athletes today from 9-11. We didn't have more than 150 sign up. I think Sunday will have a lot more. I signed up! It will be my first!
