Hahaha...I'm nearly about to pee my pants reading this!  I can't believe I'm actually admitting this in a public forum....although I suppose I don't really care...it's an online thing.  Going out with guy #1 again in a couple days.

Nicole83 - 2009-08-05 11:31 AM Are these blind dates or dates thru eharmony (or other online dating sites), or set up thru friends or???

I only ask because my best friend met her husband thru an online dating site and constantly jokes that she thought on the first 3 dates that he was going to pee his pants every time he was so nervous.

LOL.

Just curious.

I like swimmer/triathlete boy's report the best so far.

Any more on tap?

KelliD - 2009-08-05 10:35 AM I was kindly reminded by Todd & Eric to post a DR on last night.  I was really, really hopeful about this guy....he's a really nice guy, sweet, just moved here from the west coast (i.e. he hasn't been tainted by NYC yet), he's super smart, cute, active & loves the outdoors.  Anyway, it went well and I had a good time....went to a really nice restaurant/wine bar.  I think we were the last people to leave.  The thing is though, he was unbelievably nervous!!!!  It got somewhat better as the night went on, but not totally....so it was slightly awkward for a while.  I'd probably go out with him again.

I vote for a third guy. That way we can ask questions like, favorite bike brand, fav fuel during long rides, fav speed workout, fav lubricant (easy Justin) i.e. Bodyglide. Then after the break (in 2 and 2) Chuck W can make you pick one.

Nice pic Justin.

And Kelli, don't be ashamed!  If I were single, I would totally be going the online dating route.  Picking up guys in bars once you're a grown up just doesn't have the same appeal.  I know several people who have met their SO's thru online dating sites.

There's a boutique that just opened in South Tampa called Keys Country.

She has the most fabulous cowboy boot selection I've ever seen.

The catch is that they run $500-$1000.

If Chris gets this job, I'm so making him buy me a pair so I can fit in in Texas.

Or you just have to come to Houston and get these:

The husband would like the price tag better.

Animated movies are NOT chick flicks!!!  I also don't think I'd count Bull Durham as a chick flick.  Blue Crush, really??  Really??

I wouldn't call the animated movies chick flicks either but they are really good

I'm also going to vote against Jerry Maguire that movie was totally chick flick, zero interest for guys... football (unless it's UF) does not make up for the rest of that movie. Throw some Gator chomping in there and you might have yourself a movie!

OK there were 2 joke movies in there and Kelli sniffed them out fast. The Animated although I really like was joke #1. Shrek 2 was the only other movie that had THE song in it besides the real #9. Yeah I know Bull Durham isnt a chick flick but cant a guy try and get his fav movie loved by chicks. Also I stand by Blue Crush. It is in a way a chick flick. It just has some macho chicks in it. Main characters are all girls and it revolves totally about them. Not the traditional cf but there was no guy putting that on his must see list unless it was with his gf/so.

Wheel cover... that is what I am going to run for Florida.  let me know what you think of it.  Did you get it precut, and was it easy to mount? (remove rear cog & bolt on right?)

Looks fast brother!  Did you get BvD a fast rear wheel?  She needs one too ya know!

LOL you think I'm made of $$$ over there! Actually the wheel cover was only ~100 shipped so maybe if she wants one next year

I got it precut from wheelbuilder.com, just give them your rim depth and you're good to go. I'm excited because it lets me keep my powertap as is... if you remember the rental powertap was off by quite a bit.  Very easy to mount, you need a chain whip, cassette lockring bolt, masking tape and two coins to tighten the fastners.  It took me ~20mins to swap it over and that was with me cleaning my cassette since it was already off.
