We did have a scare today. These two men pointed what looked like a crossbow right at us while we were climbing to Saluda. My coach was like Holy Crap! Then they yelled at us to see if we'd seen two dogs. My coach asked "What kind of dogs?" They replied "Hound dogs" and we realized the thing they were pointing was a locator antenna for the dog collars. Interesting moment. wow! that would be kind of scary whew! and Lizardman? Interesting! |

Hope everyone is doing fine. Dee... It took me two reboots and 45 min to get my avatar changed, but I think it finally happened. Hey! I recognize that avatar! It was one of the pics I uploaded.  It took me about 5 tries to get the final challenge update written. For some reason, the board kept deciding to reload itself????? It was bizarre. JUST when I had finished calculating the final totals, the thing reloaded. I was ready to scream. After that, I kept copying the page - so if (when) it reloaded, I'd have at least a fairly current copy. I never saw anything like that before. AND, it hasn't happened since, either. Maybe it's because I was playing around with the "tiny mice experimental" settings on the control panel. (It makes writing tables easier than doing it by writing the actual HTML code.) |

LOL i didn't bring anything home with me this weekend - I decided I needed a breather to relax and to get back to wanting to engage again we're supposed to be getting big storms coming in around dinner time - we are under a winter storm advisory, can you believe it? |

I can relate... sitting in front of space heater right now... there's always the option of going for a run before you have to head to the airport... got 30 min? LOL i didn't bring anything home with me this weekend - I decided I needed a breather to relax and to get back to wanting to engage again we're supposed to be getting big storms coming in around dinner time - we are under a winter storm advisory, can you believe it? Yep, I can believe it... went to dinner last night and had snowflakes the size of half dollars coming down.... Of course it's all gone now. Can't wait storm coming in Tu/Wed and I'll be skiing on Wed... maybe will go looking for powder on Th too. |
