 GOOD MORNING HEADLESSES!!!

4 miler planned today. It's bloody freezing outside however so hopefully that will up my pace?

Uh...what's considered freezing?  You need to come out to MN and run the Securian Frozen 5K/half marathon with me in January.

Anything under 50.  It was 38 this morning. I'm from Scotland which is pretty much the North Pole so I've been through ultra freezing temps   It's sunny and 62 now however. hehe

O.K., so what other secrets do you have for us today?

lusting after hot teens wasn't enough for you?  it did get you to use a smiley!

The whole childbirth, breastfeeding, motherhood hormone rollercoaster is an oddity I've not yet mastered.

Yeah, that would have ooked me out a bit at that age. Seeing one of the most perfect creations being used for nourishment rather than entertainment.

The Todd, even when they are being used for 'entertainment' it's still quite nourishing, eh?  for the soul? and the eh-hems...

meherczeg - 2008-10-09 10:33 AM dear horseys, i got a little run in over lunch again. it was garbage day. gross.

garbage day here too.  meant dodging some trucks on the morning run and cheering up some hard workers by smiling and waving at them - I mean really, they are usually "unseen" and ignored, right?  I smiled and waved and ran on, but not before catching some surprised waves back.

After my great morning run, I took the train (light rail) downtown to the Childrens' Museum.  All was great until when I was helping DD at one bubble making station, DS manged to somehow get a faceful of bubble juice.  Apparently it is not "tearfree" and made from baby shampoo.  His little eyes were very angry.

But all day my left quad has been angry at me.  I tried stretching and massaging it, but it's just plain ol'unhappy with me.  why?  I mostly ran on the road against traffic so had the crown of the road always slightly higher on my right side.  but almost all my runs are road runs... anyway, an annoyance to my day!

Knocked out a 7 miler this morning. It was a little chilly so I had trouble keeping my HR up. But it also let me run a lot faster than normal. Plus the women's bootcamp was out.

Ding. Woo.

Just a tad over 8 miles today. Took it easy as I was a tiny bit sore from all the hills I did yesterday. I may do a 5K tomorrow if the weather is decent.

Keep on running horses!

W/o this challenge, I'd have blown it off yesterday. Way too busy at work and homelife, etc. BUT, I left work at 3 (like I'm supposed to and not 5 like I have been) and ran a 5 miler.

Thanks for the nudge, brainless equines!

Good luck on your marathon!

x2!!

Hey horsies!

So I've been slacking this week...I've "accidentally" taken 4 days off this week.  Oops!!  I had 4 miles planned for today, but I'm making some adjustments to my plan.  Next week was supposed to be scaled back for recovery, but I think my slacking this week took care of that for me.

So without babbling too much about the changes I'm making, 3 miles today, normal volume this coming week instead of reduced volume, and I'm golden =)

Go Horsemen!

Congrats! I did my oly tri today so that's another 6.2 miles of running. I did it (1500m/28mile/10K) in 2:43:44 according to my watch. Splits will be up tomorrow. I got third overall female and first in my age group. It felt great. I've really missed racing.

Great job on your oly! Third overall and first in AG is very impressive!

I never got in another run today as it started raining and then I had other things to do. I've spent part of the evening tracking some tri club friends in Kona. They're doing well. One took second place in AG, one took fifth, another won the swim in his AG. All of them finished under 11 hours and a couple were under 10.

Looks like The Todd, erh, Andy, and Sal are carrying the bulk with their over 50% completion.  WTG guys!  Of course Sal is now gonna rest after his nice Mary so we all have a chance to catch up, eh?

Keep running horsies!
