Just finished getting my hairs cut.  The woman doing it asked if I was a swimmer.  To that I said no, but I do swim from time to time.   Note to self: spend more time washing hair when you get out of the pool

I too will be spending time on the trainer this afternoon.  It's the last workout of my "recovery" week.  *Sigh* That was a quick week

It is the last workout for my recovery week as well.  And I know exactly what you mean.  I feel better now, but at the beginning of the week I felt like I'd been beat up.  It will take alot of motivation to ramp it up again.  (Which is why I am hanging out with you peeps.)

I totally missed most of my workouts last week 2/2 travel and being on call at the hospital...so I had to redo the last build week before my recovery week...so now I get to do my recovery week!  yipee!

Maybe it's just me, but I think triathletes get excited about the strangest things.  Like a week where you work out alittle less so you can "rest".

Or the day where you get to 'sleep in' until 6 or even *gasp* 7AM. Always exciting.

serendipity - 2009-02-27 12:57 PM Well, once March starts we will want to spend more time training than posting, right?  We are just setting the right tone.

That's not usually the case. We multitask.

Or else we just stop doing anything that isn't related to working out and posting on BT.

(Laundry? Dishes? Vacuuming? Nah! It'll all wait until April!)

I don't know about that. I think housework should count under home improvement. After all isn't a vacuumed carpet an improvement over a dirty one?

I think they should add "housework" to the list of "BT-approved activities." After all, yard work is listed. So this is like yard work, but in the house, rather than the yard.

Beth, didn't you wear your heart rate monitor last week while doing housework?

then again, I usually sugar binge at this time of the month anyway.

Yeah - OK - there's no way I'm going back and figuring out what debauchery occurred over the last 13 pages...

Hi, I'm Kristen. I'm in my 3rd season of tris, am training for an April full mary (my first) and then a May Oly. After that, I got no plans... so pretty much training through March was on the agenda anyway.

I'm also crazy busy with work right now, but as soon as I get something out the door, I will try to maintain a dignified level of chattiness.

As if I've ever been dignified.

Ha.

I work up a sweat pushing my vacuum.  It should definitely count.  Besides, if housework counted it would be incentive to clean instead of leaving out a plate of cookies and hoping the cleaning elves will come in the middle of the night.  (Which hasn't worked, yet.)

If I said that the entire conversation was about WINE, specifically RED WINE, would you go back and read it all?

I'm betting the answer is.... hey! Where'd you go?

Oh, she's gone back to page 1, post 1.
