Good morning everyone!

Sounds like everyone is keeping busy on the challenges.  I am trying to get a more balanced set of workouts this month instead of so run focused like last month.  Between this one and the November Pick challenge, I should have it all covered.  Just gotta stay on plan!  Wink

Sounds like teenage fun has come to roost in many ghoulie homes!  Glad mine are now in the 20s, but don't worry, they still have their share of attitude and drama at times.  Just enough to remind us of the "good ol' days"....

wgraves7582 - 2009-11-04 9:56 AM I am tired right now for some reason.  Maybe because I was up at 4:00 am for a nice morning walk or just because I am bored to tears at work????

Do I buy a pepsi now to wake up or wait until lunch time?

I'd vote for have a Pepsi never, but I didn't see that as one of the options.

Come on Ann that is my one fix in life - a pepsi a day (12 - 20 oz max).  Outside of that and candy here and there I might as well be a caveman (uhhh uhhh uhhhh - woman get me dinner Wink) with my food intake.

Please let me have some caffeine!

Giving up soda is so easy even a caveman can do it.

and I find it hard to believe you only hae one fix in life

That stuff is good for you - not like pop!

I've heard it can be hard on the legs though. I'm just sayin'.

I'm with Ann here. Soda is really not good for you. I gave up Diet Coke a couple years ago, but I was drinking 6 of them or more a day.  That said, if it makes Bill happy to have his Pepsi I'll support him!

Never had a problem in that area except the odd cramp after working out but that can be worked out as well.

Anything that doesn't kill you is good for you Innocent

Well I can't really dispute this now can I?

Thanks Kim - I have cut back a lot but still love the pop most days.  Some days I don't even have one (but those are few and far between) - especially at work where I am bored senseless and have nothing to do but BT and kill my boredom induced nap desires with caffeine (and I don't do coffee at all either!)

See... I kill the boredom with daydreaming about standing on the shoreline holding a towel while watching you aquajog. This is why I don't need caffeine!Laughing

Thanks Ann - by the time the water warms up Aqua Jogging will be over and we can OWS together.

I have found a certain fondness for aqua jogging and will continue it on a smaller scale once I return to regular training because it is therapeutic (especially with you holding my towel and smarties - lol)

You shouldn't say things like that, I just may hold you to it. I've never done an OWS before, and need to get a few under my belt. I plan on ordering one of the xterra wetsuits here soon. I'd like to do Black Bear this spring. I want to do some Oly's this year, but I may do that one as a sprint.

Thanks. I was trying to find tri's that aren't too far away from home, that one is 2 hours. We were up in that area a few years ago, I remember how hilly it was just walking. I have a lot of hills at home I can practice on so I'm only a little intimidated. The only thing holding me back from doing the Oly is the swim distance.

I like riding hills, but not running them.  You've got time to work on the swim!!! Go for the Oly if that's the only thing holding you back.

I can honestly say that the swim is what is holding me back. I'm not worried about the bike at all, I can run hills, my 6.68 mile run on Sunday was all hills. The swim makes me nervous. That's why I'd like to get out and do some OWS's this year.
