iowagander - 2009-11-03 4:50 PM Good afternoon Gobblers! We finally won a softball game!!! We were shorthanded today, but actually played our best ball of the season.

I celebrated with a little over 3 miles and my first ST session of the month. I also introduced my sore right leg/hip flexor the the foam roller, which I can confirn does indeed hurt like hell. My leg does feel better though, so I'll keep giving it a try.

Now I just need to figure out dinner. I'm thinking tilapia with some kind of steamed veggies... Have a good night all!

Great minds think alike.  Tilapia and veggies was the meal of choice here too

That's transcontinental Gobbler dinner-mojo at work there. Hope yours was good too! I went with broccoli for the veggie and some vermicelli to round it out. Good stuff.

Transcontinental Gobbler dinner-mojo, I like that.  As long as there is no cross-mojination going on

disturbed275 - 2009-11-03 10:00 PM I had a minor freakout session tonight.  I put my road bike on the trainer and as I was getting ready to ride I realized my road shoes didn't have any cleats (tri shoes stay on the tri bike, which is in the garage hoping to see some road still, and have speedplay cleats vs SPDs that are on the roadie)  I spent 20 minutes scouring the apartment for some spare cleats.  Just about gave up before the light bulb went off in my head and I remembered where they were.  Whew!  Bike workout out done
And.... will you know where to find them tomorrow?

I made it easy on myself.  Shoes are still clipped into the bike.

So as long as I don't lose the bike........

Not here. I had chicken and leftover Halloween candy. LOTS of leftover Halloween candy....

You probably should have place Halloween candy first in that sentence since it was the majority of your meal.  For instance, I had Halloween candy for dinner and a little itty bit of chicken.

I'd just like to make a statement to all the leftover Halloween candy of the world: Damn you, and damn the tempting nature with which you sit on my counter beckoning for me to eat you. That is all.

It wouldn't be so bad if it limited itself to temptation. In my case, action (ie: eating it) follows the temptation....

Hey Melissa! I hope you're feeling better soon, at least before your big test. Sounds like a fun one! Then, after you ace your test you can reward yourself with a great workout!

When I got home from work, a Heath bar just jumped into my mouth before I could do anything about it. And then so did a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. And then a Take 5.

Yum!  I love Take5!

I'm happy there is no candy here.  It's way easier to resist!  I'm having some fat-free chocolate pudding instead.  It's not a bad substitute, but definitely not the real thing.
