We just got back to MA...had a great time in TX.... I'm pleased with my race execution given the condition and actually negative split the run given the heat compared to where I live surprised.

It was great to meet many of you while we were there!

Great job out there this weekend! BT's rocked the course!

We had a wonderful weekend supporting the BT crew. I think it is harder to support and cheer at a race than it is to do it! But then again I was a tri sherpa with the best- Kevin G, Kathy G's hubby!

I want to thank all of you that I got to meet at the swim Friday and at lunch Saturday, for not laughing when I said I "traded in" my Sprint for a Half-Iron bib. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't fast, but I finished and I didn't finish last, so I accomplished my goals. It was an awesome first triathlon!
I hope you travelers enjoyed your time in Texas, and holler if you ever make it to the Austin area.

seriously!  i ran into patrick after the race i'm standing there a little fuzzy looking at his medal, bib and he's all nasty like the rest of us.  i'm thinking real hard, wasn't yesterday his first triathlon.  then when he explained...  since they canceled the swim on saturday he figured why not sign up for the 70.3.  i almost choked on my beer.   AWESOME!!!!!

I sent an email to IM after the race complaining about t-shirt sizing for women. They are sending me a new shirt. If yours doesn't fit you may want to give that a try.
