I ran today.  I'll be taking it easy tomorrow since I'll be doing a time trial on Saturday.  Well, I'll do the TT if it isn't raining.

All of your swim workouts are just plain nuts!!!  I'm lucky to be able to get to the pool!

Shhhh - I think that was the Horny Melons right???  That was about 2 years ago right?  I am a changed man
More like 16-18 months...

I know that I have had quite a few slow posting months since then...I need to fix that.  How I miss the days of 1200+ posts a month.

So it turns out that chlorine really really disagrees with my sinuses. I had such a bad sinus headache the day after the long swim that I couldn't see straight.  After a shorter swim I have a moderately bad headache.  Bleck.

But I am not going to let that slow me down (sorry guys).  I just visited the DR and picked up an antihistamine.  I am really hoping that it helps.

pdbman - 2010-03-04 11:03 AM Haven't had our question of the day yet.  How about favorite TV show?  My favorite is Chuck.

I enjoy Psych and NCIS.  Also MASH reruns.

Did you ask if they needed assistance???

Sorry everyone for being MIA - I am here - I got in my bike last night and have a 2 mile run and core on tap yet for tonight. It has just been a long day - I think too much excitement from yesterday.

2 good things - Hubby got a civilian job yesterday so he put in his active duty AF paperwork to retire yesterday - he will be done 1 May. Just a little shy of 21 years.

2. I fly to Chicago tomorrow. Spending the next 10 days with My sister - baby shower for a SIL this weekend, nephew's 8 yo birthday next week at a rock climbing gym. Yeah....But most importantly no work.

Will keep workouts up when I am there- I made my calendar this month around it. Be sure to post in the spreadsheet on Saturday or before so we get credit when Dee checks the sheets.

Go Team. Lets have a good team ranking.

I was shocked I was still ahead of her in posts.  She is wicked post padding good!

Maybe I can stay ahead of her by playing on both teams and the Ghoulies and Peach and Crappy Winter Weather (but that one is too quiet!).  Time to start up Commuting Challenge also.  I need help!
Shucks, thanks bill.

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-04 4:18 PM Do you think it is wise to try another 2000+ swim session tomorrow?

Should I give the body a break and just do my typical 1000?

I know it is a no-no in running but how about the pool?

Definitely do a shorter workout.  I bet that you will be feeling today's workout.

Man...I'm so wiped out right now.

After my trainer ride tonight, I'm going to pack it in early and try to get 9 hours of sleep.

Just speaking the truth Melissa.  Weren't you new when we were horny melons?  And no you are right behind me and I post a lot (IMHO) but never anything worthwhile
Fairly...I had just discovered forums 2 months earlier.

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-04 5:01 PM Stacie - congrats to hubby!  That is probably a great feeling - I did 8 and that was enough!  Have fun with the family!

Thanks. He is very excited. Today he told me only 57 more days... The job came at the right time - his enlistment was up on the 15th of this month and he would have had to re-enlist for another 3 years. We are very excited..

Means he is probably out of the AF Marathon since he won't have vacation time but I will still do it. Now just gotta figure out how to get there and back and such.
