I AM going to see if my LBS will hire me part time though. It would be my first civilian job in 11 years! |

Short story: yes. Abridged long story: I'm actually leaving "Active Duty" at the end of July-ish and will be in the Reserves. My new job (which is basically the same as my current one) is just an "Activation" so while I'll still be in the Reserves, I'll be full-time just as if I were on Active Duty. Administratively, the only real difference is that I'll be paid out of a different pot of money. However, before I can become an activated Reservist I have to take a 30 day break. And THAT'S where my plans for being a bike shop bum come in. That would be very sweet |
