My sister and her husband are great at it.

The last time I dressed up was 2 years ago when I was a cow in 2 Halloween parades with the kiddos.

We sometimes get dressed up and just go to Chimney Rock (small villiage a mile from here) The stores all stay open and give kids candy since there is not a place for a 30 mile radius to trick or treat at. It is fun.

Since we're talking about music

My son had a Rock N Roll quiz in music last week. We were talking about different artists and he asked me if I had anything by Elvis. I have a few songs. So we're playing Elvis music and singing along and dancing in the living room. We had a lot of fun.

The wife and neighbor shuttle the kids around the neighborhood and I stay home.  Then we go to the other neighbors for cider and donuts.

The cider and donuts taste better when you have a mask on.

Except, you both are not supposed to dress up as what you ARE. You are supposed to be something else.

I think I missed this one at the box office, but based on the title I can guess the subject matter.

My SIL usually gathers all of the kiddos up right after school and gets them ready down at her mom's place. I think last year she had 10 kids. Then she takes them trick or treating around our area. They might hit 10-12 houses, but they come home with tons of stuff. We don't get a lot of trick-or-treaters so almost everyone puts together little goody bags instead of just giving a piece or 2 of candy.

I usually end up bringing candy into work because we don't need all of it at the house.

I think they are going tomorrow. I think it's funny that my kids trick-or-treat at my house.

Is it wrong that I know about Chimney Rock just because of the bike race now?????

As long as you know about them. Someday I'll bore you to tears on how my DH and I and two other people are credited with Chimney Rock becoming a State park and not a Dollywood/ Branson resort.
