rnihill - 2010-10-29 11:08 AM How did I ever live without dvr?

About 6 months ago, a friend from HS who is acting in LA, was in a national Lowes commercial.  Everyone (I know) was talking about it!  I almost had to dvr random tv just to see the commercial, rather than using it to fast forward through the commercials.

I wish I had dvr, sigh.
As it is I am restricted to viewing whatever is on between 7pm and 8.30 each night and thats about it. If its on later then I fall alseep (because I NEED my 8 hours and get up at 5).

I wouldn't have it if my husband didn't "NEED" it to record hockey, football, college basketball, baseball, TdF, etc.

But it does come in handy...

Yeah, everything else in my life interferes too. I take a book to bed with me each night but usually only make 1/2 pages before I fall asleep.

This sounds like me too...  I just picked up a James Patterson book I had never heard of at a used book store / pet adoption store last weekend.  Odd place...  but reall, I thought I  had read all his books.

which patterson book? I have most of his books (except for the flying children books).

My guess is my really awesome but extremely conservative PT is waiting a few more weeks on that.....maybe sometime next month, probably toward the end of November.

Talking of cake.....I have to decide what kind of cake to make for my husbands birthday in 2 weeks. Its his 40th so I want to make a really great cake and his only contribution has been to say he would like one with chocolate in it.

Anyone have any awesome recipes?

So I should add a few James Patterson books to my book wish list then? I feel like I read one before and it was a bit TOO fictional for my liking, but I could be wrong.

I think Im wrong. I looked down a list of his titles and didn't recognise any. I will get one of his books next time I'm buying

The series about Max and the bird school kids is pretty cool.  Far fetched.....but still action packed and somewhat unpredictable in his plot turns.
Some of his books get pretty predictable once you have read a few of the series.

She was hearing playing earlier.. She got sea lice bites all over her. She quit posting about 8 hours ago since she took an antihistamine and was going to bed.
