mbasta - 2010-11-18 6:16 AM Back down to 176... my starting point...

A patient asked me yesterday if I am expecting my first...

My new spinner arrived yesterday! Woo Hoo!!!

Ouch. There are some questions you just don't ask strangers. I generally try to stay away from those questions period. If they want me to know, they'll tell me.

Congrats on the new spinner. I'd like to get me one too put there are too but it will be a while with my son just starting college.

Headed out for a late run last night. It felt so good I stretched the 3.5 run out to a 7+. I think the extra helped me with the 0.2 loss this morning. I wasn't very good with my eating yesterday. I did hold back some. It wasn't totally unrestrained. I am determined to eat good today.

My new spinner arrived yesterday! Woo Hoo!!!

A definite ouch!  Pregnant or not, I hated people asking...

Immediately following my 1st tri - showered but still body marked - we went to some of the nearby wineries.  The lady serving us at the first winery started off by asking me when I was due.  Not only was I NOT pregnant then, but it totally deflated some of my feeling of accomplishement from the morning...

Times sure have changed. Way back when, my wife's g-ma was at a butcher shop and the butcher said something about her being pregnant. She was so embarrassed that she never went back. She wouldn't even say the word "pregnant." Its was "in a motherly way."

Another 0.2 down, I can't wait to get really running and biking again. Rehab and wt loss are not compatable goals.

Making progress. Been losing weight the last couple of days. Got my bike and swim in for the day. Now just need to do my daily push ups and sit ups. Things are looking good.

wgraves7582 - 2010-11-19 6:33 AM Guess what - my scale is cruel

It goes 177.2 - 177.4 and I am happy - then it stops!

Guess where??

You got it

177.8 AGAIN

This is getting old!!!

Bill you are very consistent. Some times I wish my scale was that consistent though instead of the roller coaster ride.

I totally agree!  I'm rehabbing too - an achilles strain.  Had't run for over a month although I could spin. Fortunately, I got to start running a little this week.

Hang in there!  What are you rehabbing and when do you expect to start running and biking again?
