Busy day today, Ghoulies!

We had a meeting this morning for basketball for my daughter. The 7 year olds were asked if they wanted to play up with the 8-9 year olds. At first my husband said no. Then our nephew walked in and we found out he would be one of the coaches for the 8-9 year olds. My husband looked at me and our girl and said it was up to us. I asked her if she wanted to play with the big kids and be on her cousin's team. She said "yes, yes I do."   So she's playing with the big kids.

Then we went to a library not exactly close to us. My best friends were there with their German Shepherds for reading dogs. The kids rotate around to different dogs, the last round my friends didn't have anyone reading to their dogs so my son read his book to the boys, and I sat and talked with my BFF.

After that it was lunch at Fuddrucker's, then home for a nap. I was pretty tired, I slept for 3 hours.

Now I'm trying to decide what to make for dinner.

Not much sleep last night.

We were up late watching the Colts - Jets game, I'm a Colts fan so I'm not a happy camper right now.

At 1:36 someone called asking or Cassandra. My husband told her she had a wrong number, and the woman started arguing with him. She had our address  and sounded very agitated. That didn't make it easy to fall back to sleep.

I'll be napping later in the day.

I had a good day yesterday. YEA

got some chores done. Not all I wanted, but what I needed to. Then had a mani-pedi with my friend and daughter while the hubbies went and shot targets.

Then we all went for sushi. YUM. They never had it. They eat out a lot and have really eclectic tastes but never knew that not all sushi was raw fish.

they LOVED it.

Today is going to be some more chores, continue on the Christmas removal and batten down for snow snow snow.

I finally got a little run in yesterday and I don't feel too bad today. Last run wiped me out for two days after. I must be on the mend. Today will be another, hopefully.

If I can run 10 before the race, I'll do CB. Though you all will have to hold a table for me and wait for me to drag my butt across the line.

Are you supposed to get the winter storm that is forecasted for tomorrow?

Well...they finally plowed our road at about 11pm last night...

So I'm waiting for the tow company to call me back because it was 1.5hr wait time on the line...

I'm going to have to suck it up and pretend it was me in the ditch to get a free tow out of the ditch..."oh woe is me, I am a woman and went into the ditch"...I am not impressed with this right now, but my brother doesn't have roadside assistance because he is an idiot and didn't want to pay the extra $44 for it.

So looks like I am hanging around all day waiting for the call and then waiting for the tow truck to come which will take probably 5-6hrs....because everyone is stuck in the ditch. or snow piles. or their car isn't starting. blah blah blah.

It is still snowing.

Still snowing toppage.

30hr wait...but they don't think it will take that long...so a 24hr wait.

I'm probably going to kill my brother before tomorrow...I'm just going to put that one out there. So basically I can't leave the house...and if I can't leave the house...he sure as heck isn't leaving today. I told him if he wants to go out that he needs to be proactive and find someone somewhere in the country with a big truck or grater with expertise in getting vehicles out of the ditch to help him. He has 2 exams tomorrow morning and I have mandatory anatomy in the afternoon...so he gets to go write his test and come right back so I can go to school.

SO ya...

K-I-L-L...Mum is not impressed with him right now. He got her wrath from Maui. Well...she told him off for going out in the snow storm anyways...and then crashing her vehicle into the ditch.

The husband and kiddos are leaving to go ice skating. My husband really didn't want to go, he's tired and has a headache, but he felt bad leaving his niece with her 3 kids, and our 2. We don't know what other adults will be there so he may not stay. I'm running a fever, that trumps his headache.

He does. But he doesn't seem to have figured that one out yet.

Yes, Ann. We are supposed to get the snow but a lot of ice mixed in. That means trees down, roads death traps and electricity out.... usually. We'll see how much we get.

Greetings Ghouligans. Looks like we are having lots of weather woes right now. I am traveling to TN this week. 6:30 am flight tomorrow. They are supposed to get snow and ice. I am not looking forward to this one.

Melindy, your brother needs a smack. I'm sure you can handle it.

Oh yeah, Pinkalicious is playing at the Community Theater today. The town has been run over with pint size girls wearing pink.  

Where in Tenn. Bill is going to be in Gatlinburg, Ten this week, too. That is 2 hours from here. Too bad I'll be snowed in....

I'll be back later. Gotta go get some christmas from outside to inside. It is way more fun putting it up than taking it down.

Ooops.  Guess we are busted.

JK. G'burg is a bit far for a rendezvous. I'm in Nashville tomorrow then driving to Memphis.
