Talk about mileage wh0res. *snerk* Lemme put it this way: On another site, we have a group called the 2000 Mile Club. It's people attempting to run AT LEAST 2000 miles for the year. Currently, there are about 6 over that mark, 3 with less than 100 to go.... 18 are in front of the pace marker. |

Total mileage is 1179 for the group. As of what I have right now, we're at 86.85. We're at 7% to total goal. |

Mostly for the hell of it. There's a couple sub-elite guys on the board, we're talking sub 2:45 marathoners. Couple ultra guys floating around, too. These guys have easy paces that are as good or better than my race paces. |

That's just wrong! |

I'm sure there are plenty of discussions about this out there on other boards but how much is genetic makeup vs. training. |
