Only one more day of work for me after today.....yipppeee!!!!

I posted this in my log, so I'm sure you'll read it there but I thought I'd share again.  One of my co-workers made me a "Good Luck Kelli" sign for Sunday, and had our whole office sign it AND got me some granola as a good luck treat!  It totally took me by surprise...it was so sweet!!

Oh, and another update.....which I've been bad about keeping up with.  Dates 2 & 3 with guy #2, were absolutely fantastic   I also like that he tries to make sure that going out isn't interfering with my training.

I think my inside clock is all screwed up.  I could not fall asleep last night to save my life, and only managed to get about 4 hours.

Then I woke up this morning thinking it was Thursday.

I'm all confused.

Yay for hump day!  For Eric coming back to Betsy!  For packet pick up!  And for #2 boy!

You know, we need to come up with a better nickname for him than that Kelli...

I agree with Nicole.  What are some of boy #2 qualities?

Now that I think about this, I'm shocked my gf's haven't already come up with a moniker for him....this is so unlike them.

Let's see...he's super sweet, cute, tall, active, he's Canadian, used to be a ski patrol, he's a surgeon, sometimes runs.  Did I mention he's really cute

My vote is either "Swoosh" (as in, the noise snow makes when you ski on it, or "The Canadian" (in the southpark cartman voice).

Your choice.

The Cartman voice sealed the deal on this one!  Going with The Canadian.

How 'bout Doc... original I know!  or Doc the skiing Canadian   DSC for short!  Anything but 'boy' #2... 'MAN' #2 is even better than that... however, that could be construed to think he has a potty problem....and we don't want that association.  KFK - DSC... three letters seem to work

Oooh, I do like "Doc the skiing canadian."  It sounds like one of the seven dwarfs.

DSC... hmmmm, it's discreet too.  If he ever hears you say it, you can make up something that it could stand for.... muah hah hah hah... he will never know...

First of all, KFK still makes me laugh everytime I see it!

I like DSC....I think I might have to change my vote on this one.

DSC also makes me think of the Discovery Channel.

Which then makes me think of that song from several years ago...

"You and me baby ain't nothing but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel..."

Hahaha, my mind is SUCH a random tangent.

It's been a while since I've been able to sit at a computer and read some BT! I'm finally back in TX and will be running slowly in no time with this heat/humidity.  I was definitely spoiled the past week between NY/CA

How are our weekend racers feeling?!?!

The Bloodhound Gang!!!    Hahaha!!  I totally remember that song.  I think that was more like 9/10 years ago.

This "racer" (although I don't know that I'm actually fast enough that I can reder to myself as a "racer") feels super sleepy.  Aside from during work, I've been living in compression-wear, so my legs are feeling pretty dandy.  I'm SO EXCITED for this weekend!!!  I'm also sort of in disbelief that's it actually here!  Timberman always seemed so far away that sometimes I forgot it was actually real.

I've been sucking at that lately huh?

I will need some time to come up with something creative.

And just so that you know... because I missed your big race I actually consdered videoing you one Todd... then I realized that I would end up all over youtube and I don't hate myself that much.

You got the skills that pay the bills. Now go out there and show them off at the race.

Dude, I am SO excited to see how you do.

You have done such a fantastic job with your training that you are just going to rock that race.

Do you have any goals set?
