Nicole83 - 2009-08-20 9:38 AM I've been sucking at that lately huh?

I will need some time to come up with something creative.

And just so that you know... because I missed your big race I actually consdered videoing you one Todd... then I realized that I would end up all over youtube and I don't hate myself that much.

Newtons1st - 2009-08-20 10:10 AM Umm someone in this group needs to get thier Cheerleader skirt on and do some cheers for our weeekend racers.

I got 2 things to bring up.

#1 14,378. Quick any guesses as to what that is. If you said the number of text msgs my 14 yo son sent/rec last month you would be correct. How in the hell does he do that many. I mean come on. Obviously he needs more things to do around the house.  Damn it to heck I am turning into my father.

#2 Pandora - Awesome app for the iPhone. If you have an iphone I suggest you get it. Plus its free.

HOLY $HIT!!!  I seriously hope he has unlimited texts, or that's gonna be one hell of a bill!!

Love Pandora!!  Usually have it on during the day at work.  There's been so much iPhone love flaoting around lately, it' starting to make me consider ditching by Blackberry at the end of the year (when I'd be getting a new one) and making the switch.

I made some goals a while back, but for the life of me can't find out what I did with them.  Same goes for my nutrition plan....I know my general plan, but I had a very specific calorie intake per hour.  Working on all of this now....luckily my day is super slow.

Nicole83 - 2009-08-20 10:43 AM
Do you have any goals set?

KelliD - 2009-08-20 10:37 AM This "racer" (although I don't know that I'm actually fast enough that I can reder to myself as a "racer") feels super sleepy.  Aside from during work, I've been living in compression-wear, so my legs are feeling pretty dandy.  I'm SO EXCITED for this weekend!!!  I'm also sort of in disbelief that's it actually here!  Timberman always seemed so far away that sometimes I forgot it was actually real.

Newtons1st - 2009-08-20 9:04 AM Someone got a packet Yesterday. What is the number of our speedy OLY racer? Did you get a pink cap?

Betsy should like the fact that I will be sporting a PURPLE cap on Saturday... My number is (123 or 124) I don't have it with me and I actually forgot... but I know it is one of the two.

I am feeling pretty good.  I skipped the run this morning and worked on some stretching.  I can usually bend over and touch my toes... this morning ~ I was about a foot short...  My hamms and back were very tight.  I am just gonna take it easy.  I may do a warm down style ride on the trainer Friday (20-30 minutes) and work on stretching the legs, hips and back after.

KD is a RACER!  no doubt about it!  I love the phrase, 'the skills that pay the bills' ~ you got that for sure!  I am going to use that in my sig line

Woohoo!  Talk about some good luck!  If that's not a good sign, I don't know what is!

Speaking of not being able to touch your toes, I am sooo sore from that class yesterday.  I don't think I could touch mine either right now.

Oh Todd...what a craptastic day so far!  Just means it's bound to get better!

On a good note, I just called Garmin's customer service and it sounds like they are going to replace my 305 for free!  I just have to ship my old unit to them and they send me a new one.  How awesome is that?!

That is good news. Keep that CS person's name so you can call them back in 3 month when you go through your new one.

Todd ~ damn brother, that a run of bad luck!  Let's turn this baby around!!!

Let me share my good karma analysis of tomorrow ~ One - purple cap ~ so I will be blessed with the good luck of Betsy and the strength of her Tigers on the swim.  Then my number is 124, which in part - encompasses a portion of Eric's number at his last race which he smoked like a cheap cigar! (244 right? - part is better than none)  lol!  Dork alert, Dork alert!  I am excited for me tomorrow, BUT I am even more excited for our New York Tri Hottie to bend ol' Timberman over her knee and spank him like a red headed step-child!  Whip that A - KD!  You are gonna be GOLDEN!!

And the proverbial cherry on top of this race weekend is Nicole's cheers... way to go peeps!

Hey Eric - I was thinking of maybe hitting Brookshire (Royal HS) Sunday morning for 44 mile route with the folks from HRTC (roll out at 7 something - gotta double check).  I guess it will really depend on how I feel after the race, then I am working a second job Satrurday night (8:30p-12:30a - wedding reception).  But the plan at this stage is to go out and ride with them.

Doesn't tigers swimming look more like a doggie paddle? Might be better off being a Gator in the water I think your race number has the fast 24 part but you got the bonus of #1 so you're good to go.

Good luck this weekend to you and KD... you'll both do great the training has been solid and now it's time to race!

Do not doubt the strength of a tiger!  I'm certain that in a battle between a tiger and a gator a tiger would win out any day of the week!

Humm...24 huh?  Sounds like we're looking at a 24mph bike to me!

I'm likin' the video Justin.  As to Nicole's - who in their right mind would buy a pair of those?  And if they did - I'm sure it's the women who shouldn't be!
