It's a good thing I'm training for a half mary right now... Starbucks has their eggnog latte again. I love them and am trying my hardest to resist! |

Especially for me right now because I'm just coming back to training after surgery. I know it's good for me, though. I have a tendency to just stick with an easy pace that I like and call it good. I'd love to see your playlists! I'm working on making a few and then I'll post mine. |

Curiousity... can I ask what you did to YOUR knee to cause PT? For me it's an ACL replacement this summer. I have what's called Patella-Femoral syndrome. Occasionally my patella gets off track causing pain/swelling. According to the orthopod, it's caused by imbalance in strength of quads and hamstrings. Even when it's not irritated, it can twinge a little going down stairs. Not up, just down. I should be doing strength training year round, but I'm really bad about it. Funny thing, I had really bad plantar fasciitis a couple years ago. The joke is I only have issues that have the initials PF. BTW, stretching and good orthotics fixed that PF> ACL replacement takes a long time to recover from. Good luck. Edited by kcarroll 2009-11-04 10:36 AM |

I don't really have problems with it anymore. My ortho did say that if I still had pain after all the PT, he might want to scope it because women sometimes have small bone spurs on the patella that can rub on the inside of the knee and hurt. |

Guess PF are my set of initials too. Fortunately, I haven't needed to think about ACL replacement. Ow ow ow! Just reading that hurts. |

Hope to never be in the ACL club. BTW, I call plantar fasciitis "princess feet" |

Good to know re scoping. I really slacked off on the exercises after the last flare up in the spring, so I'm kicking myself. Hopefully this will do it, but if not I am all for doing whatever it takes to fix it. If I'm not able to do this half mary in three weeks due to this round I am going to be uber cranky. |

Different ones for touchdowns, field goals, first downs, interception, sacks, etc. I would watch a half of football and be just dead tired by the end. It made time fly too |
