A little late to the party, but still working hard on my weight loss all the same...

I'm 5'8".  I drifted up to a peak of 218 after a year and a half of not having much time for triathlon with a new house/child.

I started slowly losing some of it in March.   I was 204 at the end of July.  I'm down 14 pounds in August to 192.  And my goal is 175 for when I start Ironman Lake Placid training on November 1.  So far, so good!

211.1 lbs this am, down from 212.5 lbs last Monday.  Steady progress, was worried about yesterday's diet that included some pizza.  Still hoping for 200 lbs by half marathon in November.  Time will tell.

187 this morning.  Don't expect to lose much this week as I'll be tapering to this Saturday's sprint.  Jumping on the 3x balanced Oly program afterwards though and that will mark a significant increase in cardio volume so I'm sure the weight loss will kick back in.

I was as low as 142 during the week but after the weekend of no training and last nights Caesar salad and pizza feast I'm back up to  144.8 this morning.   I'm really not making any progress so need to reassess what I'm doing.

Most of that is probably water weight from the sodium.  Give it until mid week and it will be gone again.

226 this AM...baby steps, and sub-220 by race day of 9/26 is a real possibility. That alone would make the day great, and would put me over the 50+ pounds lost hurdle.

A month to lose 6lbs???  Definitely doable.  Good luck.

Weighed in @ 141 this morning - 1 lb from my goal weight! Woo-hoo! I'm actually thinking I might want to drop a few more lbs past that, maybe down to somewhere in the 135 - 137 lb range. BTW, 140 is about what I weighed when I was married - almost 18 years ago!

211.1 lbs this morning, exact same as from last week.  Last tri of the year was Saturday and had some splurges afterward.  Starting half marathon training now, hoping to continue downward another 10 pounds in 9 weeks.  Congrats to everyone that has checked in thus far.
