Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: GHOULIES moving towards the islands. Why does it always hit the fan right before the end of the day. I'm still at work. I should have left an hour ago. Apparently another department dropped the ball in a big way, now we're taking over some of their duties. We have until Tuesday to get our ducks in a row for a major security review. I've been running ragged for the past few hours. I'm hoping I get home by 5:00, I have a kayak class tonight. |

Well it's not a good thing when the security team screwed the pooch on security monitoring. We are trying to fill the gaps that THEY had and were supposed to close. My team is learning a lot on the fly right now. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: GHOULIES moving towards the islands. ironannekidd - 2012-08-06 9:52 AM I love your daughter. She so loves to spend time with her mommy, that is wonderful.Normally when I WFH the kiddos will still go down to grandma's. The in-laws have appointments today and Keri didn't want to go along while Caleb was at football camp. So far she has cleaned the kitchen, started the dish washer, cleaned up their bathroom, now she is washing off the front of the refrigerator, then she is going to rearrange the pictures and magnets that we have covering it. 1) I don't think I have ever been bored enough to do house work 2) Keri ROCKS! She said she was cleaning up so when I was done working I could play with them because the housework would be done. |

She was a bit wound up and excited to be at Robin's, so Robin didn't get to see the best of her. She was using her brother's phone today to text me from Grandma's just to see what I was doing. I think she wanted to rub in in that she got to play outside, and was now relaxing and watching TV. I think I'll keep her around for awhile. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: GHOULIES moving towards the islands. Send good ju ju to my son right now. He has to make a decision. This is a good one. Last summer he worked as a temp for a friend of ours and he did a really good job. When the job opened up a few weeks ago, our friend wanted to hire our son back, however his boss and HR decided that they wanted someone with more experience. So, they hired this other dude. After a week, our friend hit the roof saying he needed someone who actually worked and did not spend his day on email and the internet. So, they called our son and have offered him a job. The decision part is that he has been working at Whole Foods for the past 9 months and really likes it. They are openinng a new store in South Carolina and the store manager for the new store wants our son to apply for a department head position out there. Both jobs would pay the same. One would be M-F with no weekends, the other would have weekends and nights since it is a food store. One would require him to move out of state, the other he would not have to move. Both are good opportunities, however the one in SC is not a done deal yet since they have not posted, interviewed or offered the position yet. |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: GHOULIES moving towards the islands. I got a crappy run in this afternoon. Overall it was just plain yucky with lots of walking. I had to do it on the TM and I just could not keep it going. It was better than no run, but not my much. I intend to get a longer run or two in this weekend in the great outdoors. I also want to try the bike out in the real world and see how the new shoes/pedals work. That should be funny and hopefully, not too painful Now I have Okra to pickle and to freeze. Gotta have okra around for when I get a whim to make gumbo! |
