Well I survived the Yorkie attack last night and took the little trouble maker down by finding just the right spot to scratch!  I have a feeling there will be a rematch tonight when I get home.

Our Yorkie tries to win us back whenever we return home.  She brings her ball to play fetch with us and stands at the door to take us for a walk.  She does all those things she does to entertain and gain our affection.  She is really good at it.

When J goes to bed, Yorkie comes to get me and lead me to bed.  The pack has to stay together so I won't get eaten by owls.  It is very maternal.  I am her puppy.

Happy Friday TAN!

Why, of all days, do I have to wake up with a headache today?   I've got a 6 hr bike ride to do and then going out to a friend's play tonight. 

Maybe coffee will help!  Heeeeeerrreeeee coffee coffee coffeeee... 

I'm going to Atlanta this weekend.  J, G3, and I are going to see David Sedaris and G3 and I will go for a bike ride.  The rest of the weekend will be improvised on the spot.

Last night was one of the first in AGES that I didn't wake up at 4am for an hour or longer, but I woke up with a headache... I'm trying to get rid of it with coffee.   

Yes now when I get home instead of getting mugged by one dog I get mugged by two, both of whom want my attention and don't want me to give any attention to the other.  Sheesh all I want to do is sit down and eat!

We have seen him once before.  Some concert goers are always surprised that Sedaris' stories are not all like the Macy's Elf story.  He can be pretty risque but he is always funny. It is my kind of humor.

For the bike ride, the plan is to ride the Silver Comet Trail for a bit on Sunday morning.  Some logistics for bike transport are being worked out.  I think I've got it.  Sandy has to cooperate also.

Somehow I have the feeling that I would enjoy his type of humour - I'll have to look up and see if he's coming to Chicago at all. 

According to the weather people that live in my phone, Sandy is going to be quite pesky to the east coast starting next week, which really isn't very nice.

I went to bed at 7:30pm. Perhaps it's all the estrogen coursing through my veins.

I really, really, REALLY like the fact that I haven't had that stupid monthly visitor since 2007, but the drugs can have wacky side effects - and hot flashes aren't any fun at all.  Thank little baby swaddling 8lb Jebus I don't get those anymore!
