I don't think I've ever had breakfast from a fast food joint.  bleah....  gimme a bagel and cream cheese anyday.

I'm more of a donut and kolache guy. Doesn't get better than a couple of chocolate covered chocolate filled donuts, a jalapeno and sausage kolache, and a Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper.

Note that I am on a 1 month break from donuts and kolaches, so I just drooled on my keyboard a little bit.

Knocked out a quick 4 miler before lunch. Felt faster than usual. Crazy how that works.

Moving South successfully kicked my butt (inspired me) and I have completed two run commutes this week. I have another two planned. As MS noticed the bike is my love now although I used to love running more. I have a marathon planned in the future so my running obession is slowly growing. 8.4 miles so far this week and 20 more planned. I'll get my 88mile goal this month. Thanks for the butt kicking!

Managed to get out of work on a perfect day. Got in a 5 miler today.

BTW: Where is the spreadsheet? In another post, somepne said that they're getting updated? I just want to be sure I credit where it's due...

4.5 miles done today. May have been more, but my Garmin is dead and this is a conservative guess

10 miles today team. It was cold - upper 30s - and I had to wear cold weather gear. I guess I better get used to it again because the cold weather will be here for several months. This cold spell will only last a couple days, but this signals the end of t-shirt weather is very close.

But you look so good in your avatar!

I fear the tickle in my throat.  DS has been dripping his snottles on me since Sunday   AND I have a date tomorrow night!  ARGH!  I am/was planning to run tonight, we'll see how the next few hours play out.

I'm more of a hawkwich guy.

What's a hawkwich you may ask? It's a waffle topped with peanut butter, banana, and syrup.

That's my breakfast of choice for anything longer than a sprint tri.

hmmm, that sounds good!

Hi Team - just a quick update to let you know the challenge for next month (November) has already been posted here:

http://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=136294&posts=1&start=1

Its all about hitting your workouts for the month and being run by the lovely Travis - all you need to do is commit to 20 workouts in the month, each a minimum of 30 minutes in duration.

What those workouts are - well thats up to you!!!

Knocked out an easy 4 miler this morning.

Well, technically it was a 1 mile warmup, 2 miles in Zone 2, a 5 minute bathroom break, and a 1 mile easy cooldown. But it all addes up to 4 miles, right?

So today is the 15th, just about halfway through the month. How are we doing on our percentage of challenge completion?

I'm at 52/70 miles, 74% complete. Next week is a recover week, so I won't be doing much. That's why I'm so far ahead of schedule percentage-wise.

Keeping running horsies!
