So we went skiing today.  My knees are a bit achey this evening.  Even with the exercising I've been doing my legs still get tired.  Some extra water and a good night's rest should take care of it.

I was going to go for a run tomorrow morning before we head home.  But I forgot to pack a very important piece of clothing.  So I'll have to wait and do something after we get home.  There always seems to be something that I forget.

Ski Report for anyone who cares:  This weather inversion was giving some unseasonal spring-like conditions.  The temp at the house (elev. ~2000ft) was 21F when we left.  At the top of the mountain (6300 ft) it was 45F.  We were shedding layers throughout the day.  We all had a good day.  Even the 4-yr old was skiing without a tether on the bunny hill.  Before we know it he'll be bombing down the slopes with me screaming behind to slow down.

Awesome!  Sounds like a great day....no doubt.  Wish I was there..........

I was looking around for a smaller event to do before my first Tri in May.  The waters around here are pretty cold until mid-summer so there aren't many triathlons.  I was pleasantly surprised to find a duathlon on March 28 here in my own town.  So I've put that on my list.

I have never gone snow skiing. It sounds like a lot of fun, seems like it would be a workout for the knees and ankles. That is wild about the temperature on top of the mountain.

Got in a good run and a light swim this morning before work.  Dinner meeting after work (which is going to suck hardcore) then a trainer ride to break in the new baby!

For today it may not happen.  Three hours in the car and I'm exhausted.  Maybe still recovering from yesterday.  Didn't think it was any more than a normal ski day but I'm stiff & tired.  I have about an hour before we leave for the boy's swim lesson.  If I regain some energy before then I'll hop on a bike or something while he's in the water.

Got home from my meetings last night at 10pm. Was supposed to be at the gym at 6 am.  Don't know what happened, but I don't remember shutting off the alarm and going back to bed.  @ 7 when my son woke up for school I realized I wasn't going to make it to a workout. Oops.  Scout meeting tonight after work, so it's going to be a challenge to get a run in.  Bike still looks real pretty sitting on the trainer.  I'll let you know when I actually get to ride it. *sigh

Well the beauty of a trainer is that you can ride it an any time (well almost)

Did some time on the elliptical this morning.  It wasn't much but it helped work out the stiffness left from skiing.  I hate getting older.

Sorry, can't think Spring yet.  Must think SNOW.  I haven't had enough skiing to cover the season pass yet.

Felt great today.  Went in and did weights.  I was going to do just a ride afterwards but they were all in use.  I didn't wear the right shoes to run so I got on the erg instead.  Included some intervals and loved it.  Then rode the bike some to work out the bum cramps from rowing.

I love having good days.

The bad part of today was the headache that woke me up a 5:30am.  Not sure why but it has mostly gone now.

Hope everyone's doing good today.

Hmmm, weekend plans...our running club is having its annual meeting (translate: party).  That is always a very good time.  I hear there will be skits this year. Fueled by the sheer amount of alcohol, it promises to be great.

Sunday I am steam cleaning the carpet in every room in my house, casualties from my old dog's latest gastric distress adventure.  This does not promise to be great
