kcarroll - 2010-08-23 8:26 AM Ok Ghouligans, time to let you know about some of the changes getting ready to happen in NJ. Yesterday I went to the office and cleared out all my personal items.  Wasn't much to collect as I've been bringing things home slowly over the last several months.  Next Monday I will drop off my computer, phone, credit card etc.  I will then officially be unemployed.  This has been coming for a very long time.  The company reorganized earlier this year, resulting in my job being eliminated.  I was asked to stay and a new job was created but it just didn't work.  We agreed about a couple months ago that I would leave.  I've transitioned everything and it is now time to go.  

I am certainly nervous about looking for work in this economy, but very happy with the decision. Finances aren't a concern, for now at least, so I may also take a bit of time and just fall of the grid for a bit.  I will be running lots between now and MCM but that is not enough to keep me entertained so I've also started looking at some classes and volunteer opps.  

Anyhow, that is enough said on the matter.

I hope that all goes well with the job hunting.  My hubby says that jobs are opening up in the computer field.  He has had 3 interviews in the last week.
