Maybe we could go have lunch with Robin. That sounds like a good idea. Hopefully her mom is doing ok. I only semi-skimmed yesterday's posts. Isn't she having her surgery today? Off to my 25th run of the challenge - it is a wee bit warm out but I shall run the tree covered trails so only the horseflys and bugs will be together! Son has Middle School Orientation tonight then I am dropping him off at a friends, taking my tahoe in for some recall work while I am gone, riding home, packing up finally, going to sleep! I cannot wait to get to Arizona so I can fall asleep at 8:00pm without getting in trouble! Have a great Labor Day and I will look for the new challenge thread when I get back in town. Safe travels. If you have the time, climb Camelback. It is awesome at sunrise. |

Champion 14677 Bronze member | Subject: RE: Ghoulie Assatar part II- run or else! Hi ghoulies I just typed a bunch and hit a wrong key and it all went away. Thanks for all the ju ju. I'm sure that is one of the reasons my mom is doing so well  Her surgery went well. She is only in pain when she has to move her knee. They are pretty aggressive here. Up yesterday after surgery and PT twice a day each day. They make them walk to the Pt (as far as they can) and have to walk a min of 200 yds, get in and out of a car and go up at least 5 stairs before they can go home. Friday will be home then I'll be on 24/7 then to make sure there are no falls. I am close to the bottom for the assatar challenge. I'll have to check my logs. Do we have a September challenge? I'll be home this evening in time for dinner with you all.. Come on by. The weather is perfect (and supposed to be that way this weekend- come on down if Earl screws up your weekends) More later Ghoulie Ghouls! |

Just jumped right in there...tomorrow is a full day of lecture then we have a concert thingy to go to tomorrow night. Went for a swim after class...remember the guy who was coaching my group next year? Well I ran in to him at the pool today...we had an awkward interaction...lol...and apparently he is not coaching that group...even though the head coach thinks he is...so whatever that is supposed to mean? I asked him who was then and he doesn't know...so ya...this could be interesting...haha oh well. Need to go for a run now. |

So my run didn't really happen...made the rookie mistake of pizza for dinner and then figured I would be good to run around 8:30.....wrong...Made it to the bottom of the hill by my house and didn't feel good...so I ran back up the hill...it was about a mile. Need to wake up early I guess to get a redo in before 8am lecture...ugh...8am lecture...and I am actually going...so I have to get my 6km run in before and then do a short ride after school before heading out to the concert. Have a good morning everyone...(as I am probably the only one around till morning...and then it will be a new thread...SEPTEMBER!!!) |
