pdbman - 2010-10-13 1:25 PM My timing seems to be off lately. I seem to make it to the forum when everyone is off doing something else.

That's the position I'm usually in... *cricket

pdbman - 2010-10-13 1:26 PM So what should my posting goal be for today? 1950? Shouldn't be to hard. Its a lot easier when there is someone else to talk to though. I'll take a quick break to do some work and check back later.

That's a good goal, but I would aim for 2000. Today my goal is 600, oh and finish the run + strength as promised.

I had home made BBQ pizza for lunch! It was over the 500 calories I talked about though because I shredded too much cheese. Mmm...

I have almost finished my costume! I put together the skirt component today and just need to hem the bottom to complete it. Then it's just little things like adding... uh I don't know the terminology for sewing stuff. Hook thingies for the back of the belt to keep it on me, the same kind as found on a bra. Some pretty crap that gets sewn around the neck line that has no other purpose than to look nice.

Hahaha - tom boy that likes to sew...

Does anyone run nutrition challenges? I think I could benefit from one.

My dad brought me a giant hazelnut chocolate bar.

Hello friends,
Crazy day here at work.  Lunchtime workout was scrapped.  Don't worry... I will get all my workouts in this month!  Keep crushing those Ghoulies!

Crazy day here too, and I'm just...  blah, I guess.  I definitely have the blahs today...  Still need to figure out how I can make up my run from yesterday, sometime between too much work, my daughters dance class, making dinner and my DH's hockey tonight.  Ugh.  If all else, there's always the dreadmill tonight after I get the kids to bed.

I love to run outside later in the evening and sometimes in the middle of the night. Its quite peaceful and relaxing.

Hey, I'm working from home tomorrow too. I have a volleyball tournament I am responsible for and should be setting up for it about the time I usually leave work. I figure if I can cut out the commute I should be able to get things ready on time without taking time off work.

I did this a few times over the summer, just to avoid running in the direct sun/heat!  That aspect was nice!  The thing is, I basically live on a horseshoe.  Even if I want to run around the block, or if I want to GO somewhere, I have to go out on a somewhat main road.  And that road has no real shouder.  Actually, the road shoulder is a big ditch.  So I don't like running that in the dark.  And back and forth along the horseshoe gets boring too...  But it is proabably better than the dreadmill.

Melissa - I have seen them in the past.

Start one up.

Just click on New thread box at the top in Challenge Forum and type away.

A lot of people will jump in on it for sure - maybe not with our Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up but then again maybe so

Maybe November. Good idea!

I don't think I would do much running after dark on a road like that either.
