I have never been there, I can only go by what the rental folks say.

We have 5 definites (kim, melindy, neal, ann, and (gulp) me) so we can do up to $ night it would probably be less than that.

Sat morning. I leave at 715 and get into SFO at 930. (Unfortunately the same flight does not exist for SAN)...

We have a afternoon quiz and a bunch of the girls were against paying for a hotel for the night when we wern't getting there till late. I would have prefered to leave tomorrow, but I went with the majority.

It doesn't really matter to me as long as I have someplace to sleep.

I don't really have preferences. I don't care where I sleep (or who I sleep with..apparently...15000 wow...)...Whatever the group wants I am cool with. (I know this probably doesn't help...someone else can make the executive decision...I get forced into it all the time...)

I'm sad to say I don't actually have dominatrix boots...(well I have a pair that my friend refers to as dominatrix boots...but they are more...er...equestrian than dominatrix...)...haha...Then I have some ones that are kind of cowboy boots but softer (because I live in AB...) and some military-gladiator style boots...hahaha...

So you will have to take your pick of those...

I just booked my flight to SAN...looks like I'm coming for sure now...haha

I would think Tom would stay at his house. But he's welcome to share a room with me.

Here is another issue. In some cases it would be cheaper to book for a week rather than by night even though folks would not be there the whole week. Does anyone have heartburn with that? You could still come and go anytime in that week window, if that is how we book it.

I have no problem with booking it for a week, but I have a question. Would the week be like Saturday to Sunday, or could it be any 7 day block. Having to check out on a Sunday wouldn't be a good thing since the race is that day. I think it would be best to keep the place until Monday at least, maybe even Tuesday if possible.

Definitely at least Monday. No way would I want to fly across country the same day I ran a HM.

Monday would be fine with me. If I'm staying until Tuesday for any reason I will get a hotel closer to the airport in San Diego.

Sorry I've been absent on this one. 1) I'm in. 2) haven't booked flight yet, but will shortly. 3) I'd like to stay until Tuesday, but if majority rules Monday departure I'll just find a hotel room for the last night. 4) I will plan to arrive Friday and will get a rental car. 5) Pool or Beach.  Either is good.  6) $100/night should get us something decent, but I will pony up more if needed 7) If it winds up that getting a house for the week is cheaper, great. I can't stay, but hope someone would be able to take advantage of it.  

I am happy to share a room, just not keen to sleep on a sofa. Sofa bed ok though.

Run was good. Well, not really. But it's done. I did my hilly route and that always makes me feel like I haven't trained at all. Got tied up on the phone for a bit this afternoon. Now going to go pick up my car at the dealer where it's been getting all winterized. They always wash it and clean the mats for me. Nice boys. Looks like I'm not going to beat the rain on this one though.
