rnihill - 2010-10-28 8:44 PM Would it be bad to go back for a 2nd bowl of frosted flakes?

We are cutting into the lead - down to about 110 posts..

I need to run - my little guy (Bo - 3 mo puppy) is going down for the count. When he goes so do I pretty much so I can get up when he gets up (so far this week it has been between 530 and 600) but just in case it is earlier.

Have a good night.

QueenZipp - 2010-10-28 9:30 PM Women's Mystery Series is good.
The Alex Cross series is good too
THere's another series with a cop named Mike Bennett that I have read a few of as well.

LOVE the women's mystery series.

Alex Cross is how I got hooked on James Patterson.

I love the fact that each chapter is only a couple pages...  it makes for easy stopping points when I NEED to go to bed.  Or makes it easy to just read ONE MORE  when I just can't bear to put it down.

So true. I work in a call center so when I was just off orientation and not allowed to get into the faxes and point of care clinicals I read a lot between calls.

I see there has been an overnight posting frenzy as I forgot to toggle off notifications and I have over 800 in my inbox....excuse me if I dont go through them all!

Hmm....we seem to be HOURS apart - where are you?  (unless you are a 3rd shifter)

Oh, I'm in the Australasia shift - Gold Coast in Australia - its 11.36am here right now.

That makes me 7 hours ahead....(central time zone) or 13 hours behind...not sure, and I'm not going to try to figure it out.

dimplespoo - 2010-10-28 6:20 PM wow - where is everyone... Hoping more people show up since we need help kicking ghoulie butt.

Just got back from a 5 mile run - 51:02 - best time yet. WHA HOO..

10 miles will put me over the top on Saturday.

Hey!  That's great!

I did a little 3 miler myself.  I'm hoping for a long run on Sat. and then a short run Sunday with a long bike.  We'll see. how it goes.  Don't believe I'll make 100 though.

Good luck tomorrow. I hope it goes smoothly as possible.

Thanks!  It's causing me some torment - I'm going to ask a judge to send a 20 year old kid to prison for 14 years for killing a man and injuring his wife because he didn't want a ticket for illegal consumption of alcohol.  We've had a few chats with our 15 year old about not running from the cops and not really worried about it - I just hope the message has hit home with her.  She doesn't drink and I don't want her to start.

Edit:  fix location of post....I'm such a doofus.

That post was so hard to get through yesterday.  So sad for all.

My girls are 15 (tomorrow) and 16, I would rather drag azz out of bed at 3 AM to go get them than have them risk driving impaired

THe other day a lady was parking her car a couple doors down from the PT office.  She dropped her cigarette on her leg and when she went to shake it off from burning her she hit the gas instead of the brakes.

She drove through the plate glass at the Verizon store and totally mangled the steel beams.

Got out of her dar and lit another cigarette.

It is - I don't mean to bring folks down - and maybe this is my therapy talking about it just a fuzz - but - at the same time if I can keep one kid (or adult) from doing the same stupid thing - I will have done a good thing.

I can't even tell you how many people I see texting and driving every day! How do they convince themselves that this makes sense to do?
