Awesome! And next year maybe we're looking at AG racing instead of Clydes?

Easy now Foggy.  When I was in college at my insane fittest I was weighing 218.  I haven been sub 200 since Freshman year of high school.  I carry 220 on my frame very easily.  Thats what I'm shooting for.  Only 19 more pounds to go.

Foggy could you give a little detail on each, looks like a good work out.

Went out for a nice cut of fillet (steak) this evening, came home and ran 5 miles with my orthotics with a 7.52 pace.

Good to finally get a few miles with the orths in even if they are't as comfortable as an ordinary insole, and even better be running after suffering 6 months with ITBS.

Booked a session with the local sports physio to give the legs a bit of a losen up.

Well we finally had some sunshine here in GA today! Yippee! ! I took a nice lil' 15 mile ride on the Greenway this morning and really enjoyed myself. It was a beautiful day to be outside!

Got a brief workout in last night.

30 minutes on the treadmill and covered about 4.6 km's.

I'm following the Galloway approach for my half marathon in May.

I'm slowly getting back into it after that damn stomach bug that kept me out for 9 days.

And i'm also looking to check out a bike that i've been searching for for 6 months.  A 2011 Felt B14!  I'm taking the afternoon off at work just to drive to this place to check it out and buy (if it fits correctly!!!)  I'm excited.

Training-wise I'll really be getting back into it tomorrow. I've mostly been doing a core strength routine and running drills from my coach here and there. Trying to fit stuff in between MCAT studying and med school application stuff. Which is definitely an improvement from a few months ago when I would have used those commitments as an excuse to not even try to workout. I also wrote about triathlon for a med school application! Really helped me re-focus myself on both goals. It's great to see everyone's workouts. MCAT is this weekend so I'll be back and kicking after Saturday.

Foggy could you give a little detail on each, looks like a good work out.

No problem my friend:
200 W/U - Slow warm up
800 Pace @ 1:30 / 100
400 Drills - 100 Skate, 100 Zipper, 100 Catch-up, 100 Kick
400 Pace @ 1:25 / 100
200 W/D - Slowing pace down each lap

Is your pace done in 100 sets or are you able to maintain that speed for 800.

I currently have to rest at 90 (18m pool) when I'm scraping under 1.30.

Yet another swimming question, do you select a wet suit size that meets your measurement or do you go up a size because of the tri suit?

Thanks for letting me in.

I just signed up for the Cranberry Tri (sprint) in August.  Have not been training due to an upper resp infection.  Hoping to get over this and back training in a week or so.

Any and all suggestions on work out routines are welcome.

Training conditions have been terrible last two days thus no work, but weather is beautiful for the rest of the week.  Put my two rest days back to back and now have a busy remainder of the week.  Hate to do that, and wouldn't have if the rest of the week weren't going to be so nice.  Just loathe the thought of having to train indoors.

Got the fitting done and threw the money down and picked up a 2011 Felt B14.

They need to cut the extensions off still and torque everything correctly.  I pick it up on Saturday.  Unfortunately it is going to be a long time before I can ride outdoors.

Hey Foggy

Are you a Paleo guy?  If not please disregard the rest.

I am interested in it and have been wanting to look into it.  Can you reccomend any good informative websites about it for me to check out.

Thanks

Well I can certainly tell it is the new year at the gym.  I went to swim my laps this morning and the lap pool was PACKED!  I'm usually one of only two or three there swimming laps.  Oh well, I opted for some strength training instead.  Did one hour barbell class (one of my favorites!).  Will go back to cardio tomorrow and Saturday.  We are having some freakishly warm weather here in GA, so will definitely have to take advantage of it and get out biking/running this weekend.  = )

Hay everyone. no work out today.  Had to help my wife set up for a b-day party.  Cooked dinner, made a cake, cleaned the house.  But the party went great.  Will be hitting the pool tomarrow as a new man.  I am now 30 years old.
