Last night was one of the first in AGES that I didn't wake up at 4am for an hour or longer, but I woke up with a headache... I'm trying to get rid of it with coffee.   

I went to bed at 7:30pm. Perhaps it's all the estrogen coursing through my veins.

I really, really, REALLY like the fact that I haven't had that stupid monthly visitor since 2007, but the drugs can have wacky side effects - and hot flashes aren't any fun at all.  Thank little baby swaddling 8lb Jebus I don't get those anymore! 

I've not had a visitor for almost 3 years. And now my ovaries have stopped talking to my brain. I'm gonna give the drugs a try and see if they relieve the awful effects of menopause. My cholesterol, blood pressure, thyroid, skin, hair, weight, sleep.... All of it is off the charts out of whack.

I think I'm lucky in that I didn't have effects for very long at all as I also started drugs almost right away after having all the internal lady-bits removed.  Still, the few effects that I did have weren't fun!  Once the dosage was right though, I haven't had to worry about a thing. 

How long til you get blood results back? 

i do have the matching umbrella.  just not sure how professional that will look...going with my f-i-l and some high up virginia politician peoples and was advised to dress and behave accordingly...i'm screwed

Do they even sell rainboots in your neck of the woods?  I can't see that you would have much call for them, but if they do sell them in Tuscon, there sure are some cute ones on the market!   

Cloudy, temps in the 50s and 60s , 10% chance of rain in Atlanta for the weekend.  Sounds good.

There are multiple weather systems interacting.  I think this is the kind of weather that is hardest to predict.  Large difference in outcome depend on small current differences that are hard to measure.  I would rate the certainty in the CT weather prediction as low.   Anything could happen.  The currently predicted track for the storm heading straight into Delmarva would be very unusual.  Usually storms take a hard right and head toward the north Atlantic this time of year.

Yep, you're S.O.L. which makes me sad for you, cuz that sounds like it would be cute (if not entirely appropriate for the occasion).  

In truth, I'd be happier if the weather just didn't get any worse and I didn't have to wear them at all... somehow I don't see that happening.

And I don't know why, but the first time I read the "heavy coats" my poor little pea brain saw it as "heaven coats" and I was wondering what the he!! those would be... do they come with a halo? Absolve the wearer of all their sins?  Give you wings? 

Oh wait, that last one should be a Red Bull coat.

My daughter had a yellow raincoat with the yellow Cape Cod fisherman's hat and galoshes when she worked in New York.  She is about 5'2".  She was so cute and she looked about 10 years old.  She was working for a big financial consulting company at the time. It can be done.

So I'm NOT delusional?  Cool!  

Okay TAN,  I need to get off my butt and start this stupid 6 hour bike ride.  Ugh.
