Did Murph for the first time today.  I can't kip and didn't know how bad it was going to be so I paced myself well.  55:08.  I can't tell if I would have puked if I went faster or if I paced it perfectly.  I felt like I had a little left though.  Anyway, I'm really excited about it!  thanks for all your help guys!

lvthgme - 2008-08-08 3:51 PM CF: Helen.  3 rounds of run 400 m, 21 KB swings (40 lbs), 12 pull ups.  Last time I did all jumping pull ups, and used a 25 lb KB (because my side was hurt).  Time was 11 something.  TODAY...

I used the prescribed weight for girls (40 lbs) and did a total of 24 REAL KIPPING PULL UPS!!!  I did the first six in the first two rounds, then finished off with jumping pull ups.  Then the last round I DID ALL FREAKIN KIPPING PULL UPS!  One at a time on all of them, but I don't care.  Time was 18:29.

The most I'd ever done in one DAY was 11 before.  Now...24!

AWESOME job!  I just caught up on this thread.  You guys are kicking so much arse!

Anything with thrusters kills me, as I get so winded. Definitely a lung burner!

Nice job everyone! Unfortunately, I have been super busy the past couple days and haven't had much time for working out I have been riding my bike to work, but that's about it. I need to catch up on sleep tomorrow, but Thursday I'm going to make sure I get a good CF workout in.

CrossFit Total today after 3xCFWU

Squat : 205, 235, 265, 285, 305 (f)
Press: 135, 145
DL: 320, 340

Total: 770lbs...not bad for being away from the heavies for a while. This was the first workout that I've felt good about in a while!

Kiley, you'll like this one I think:

3xCFWU less GHD & Extensions

WOD:
3 rounds

50 Double-unders
50 GHD
50 hip extensions

31:30

Another sweat your off work-out, the double-unders came together for me today...I found that if I do one then recover and keep alternating that I can string together about 10-15 before I get stung by the rope.

Zilla...digging the new avi

Morning workout

3 rounds of:
800m run
30 box jumps
30kb swings (24kg)

time 20:55

I'm definitely noticing the effects of not being as consistent with my training. I need to make sure I stick to it on a regular basis.

I don't get the whole GHD sit-up. I watched the video and don't get it. What's the difference?

Also, I don't have a back extension that's perpendicular to the floor. Instead, it is at a 45 degree angle. Can I use this?
