Hi everyone! Sorry I've been a bit preoccupied this month. I didn't get Friday's swim workout entered until today, so my count was down a bit. Also missed a few training sessions last week, but will be picking it up this week rather than doing the recovery week planned. Last week ended up being an unplanned recovery week   Happy Training!

After a rest week, I'm ready to hit the training hard. Today's 9-mile run was my longest ever. It is amazing how often I change moods during a long run. You know - Ugh, I feel terrible. Hey, I feel pretty good. Man are my legs tired. Hey, I could probably go farther.

Keep it up West! We can make up the difference!

Morning. Oh God I am just so tired! I think I've only slept for 4 hours. Bleh.  I really need to get running and swimming to catch up. Sorry about that but I have fallen in love with biking all over again.

Hope everyone is well.

HI everyone-

Third place!  Obviously that isnt real since I dont think everyone got their workouts/races posted.  Do we have an official Left Coast stat checker?  Do we want one?  I can do it with the caveat that I might not always be fully present on Saturday night and may miss something......

hanve a great week everyone!

Ah, don't take it too personally we're in 3rd place ... recount!!!

Perhaps literally, since I bet it's more because some of us forgot to put our numbers on the spreadsheet, or didn't find it, or something ...

All of us have put in great work and workouts--keep it up!

x2~~~

west is the best! and will prevail! just may be slow starters! but I know we will end with a bang!!!! GO WESTIES!!!!

sounds like a great plan...can you send me a link to the new spreadsheet? I did a race and quite a few bricks and probably did not get my 5% for all of my runs, bikes and swims! plus if someone can enter 25 miles for me for yesterday in the bike column....thanks!!!

Would someone be a love and add my totals to the spreadsheet. I am honestly afraid of messing it up. Something I am very good at. I would greatly appreciate it

Biking 7H 35 Min

Swim 25M   Gosh that is so unlike me. Wow.

My prerogative now:  RUNNING.

I'll go running with ya!  It's going to be gorgeously sunny and warm all this week. Near 90's on Friday. I cannot wait. I'll be outside and maybe get a bit of colour instead of being pale blue.

When are you going? I have a memorial service on Saturday at noon for gram...but I am planning on really trying to catch up on my numbers the rest of the time...

The loop from my apartment to Seward (and around) and back is 17.2 miles...if you add Mercer Island, you're probably talking another 20 miles...but I am interested in doing this Friday night, Sat early AM.

Lynne:

It looks like that route would be about 34 miles! My longest ride is 17! If you think I can do it, I am ready. If not, maybe we could meet up in Madison Park (although you are in Renton, right?) and cut out the Seward Park part and just go to Mercer and around...what do you think?

Anyone else want to join? We can even do a super short run after!

Sure. 34 miles would be a lot. 17 sounds better to me. LOL The 44 I did on Saturday about killed my bum!  I'll have to get a new saddle. We could even stop and have lunch if you want!

So...it looks like we can be the fabulous come-from-behind winners if we resolve our reporting issues and keep each other pumped! It looks like everyone is doing a great job with the training. Even if you feel like you're behind, we have a lot of May left, so keep pushing. Way to go on all of the brick bonuses so far and races last weekend!

I can't do lunch on Saturday since I have a memorial service at noon that I must get to (early in fact). I need a new saddle, too!

Did you want to meet in Madison park or somewhere more convenient for you?
