Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Man, I always get on too late to "see" you guys. Why you gotta go sleep and stuff? Isn't that what work is for? That's when I get some of my best sleep. Um, did anyone else notice that calendar has far too much clothing involved? Really, have some consideration! I have my first 5K this weekend! Yay! Of course, I've had to accept the fact that it will be walking instead of running due to my feet being all f'ed up. Hopefully backpacking up a 4K after the race won't hurt that... |

Be careful out there and just remember that walking a 5K is still way more than lots of people do and I like that you are opting to walk instead of bailing on it as some might. Be happy you can do it at all, I always say!

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Good day WCP&T team. I see we were burning waves the post padding yesterday. I think team Chatty may have noticed because they are up to 10 pages at this moment. LOL Now that we have 14 pages under our belt, I'm thinking we may need a few introductions for those of us who haven't met in a team challenge before. Edited by kns57 2008-08-27 11:52 AM |

Veteran 150 | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Man....I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with you guys, but I'll try. I'm Maria. I am married with two girls (15 months & 3 years old) and am expecting #3. This was supposed to be my comeback year to get in shape. I was doing fine and then I went and upped my cardio and now I should see the results in early February. So....I'm hoping to stay in some type of shape so that I can continue the quest for iron in 2013. I train at 5:00 a.m. so it's been killer getting up lately. I hope having sessions to complete will help me adjust my schedule as I try not to look like I ate too many oreos. I'm looking to you guys to keep me on task. Although I'm in Texas, the cattle prod thing makes me nervous. I'll take the tiara any day. |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Oooo, background info. Okay, I'm Erica. I am a 29 y/o married stay at home mom of three wonderful kids who will all go to school tomorrow! This has been my first year of tris. Completed two. Would like to do one more but not sure if Bryan (hubby) will be here or not. He is a submariner in the Navy and gone A LOT. I start to feel bad having all sorts of people watching the kids so I can race. So, not sure if I'll make the last tri. Training for a half marathon right now, October 11 (yup, Bryan will be gone). I'm slow but making progress. I guess that is enough for now, I could go on and on and on... |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Kendra, we used to have a 1990 Goldwing. Ended up getting rid of it in Guam when the movers broke it. Bryan would love to get another one day. My father in law just bought a new one this year. |

My wife, Laura (Runnerg1rl7), and I love it out here in CO but are still getting used to the altitude difference from Pennsylvania. My race list consists of: 10miler on Sept 1st, sprint tri (my first) on Sept 7th, Marathon (Denver) on Oct 19th, 5k on Oct 26th, half marathon Jan 17. I am sure I will add more in there between now and Jan. |

Hubby wants a new one, but since I was so afraid of riding on any motorcycle we did not see the point in spending the money on a new one yet. So we found the 87 at a great price early this year and it is in really good condition. I have since taken a motorcycle safety course and got my license, so I think in the next couple of years we will be looking at getting a new or newer one. |

(OK, so Cat's in Sydney, and eurydice79 is in Perth.... But at least they're both heading INTO summer, rather than away from it.) (Which makes me sad, because I *heart* summer.) Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah - Say hello to our new teammate, eurydice79. |

Do you know if baby #3 is a boy or girl? Three girls could be interesting. I am afraid to have any more kids, afraid of a third boy. That and my three kids have exhausted me! My boys are only a year apart. Yikes! Good luck with that early morning stuff. I don't envy you, but admire your commitment to get up at O dark 30 to train! |
